Bought this so my wife could take to work and...
Bought this so my wife could take to work and disinfect her work area or any thing she needed to touch or handle, she had 8 coworkers tested positive for COVID. She also sprays in side our car before and after going to work, it’s sprays a mist like from a can spray disinfectant so no runny mess. Would recommend a commercial grade concentrate disinfectant if your going to spray for COVID protection.

I have been using this Ryobi handheld sprayer for a few days now and i really like it. My former job provided me with the chemical they use to spray the classrooms with and i use it to sanitize all packages and groceries that are brought into the house to protect us from the covid virus. My wife and i both have heart conditions and we are over 70 so we need to protect ourselves. The unit itself is very lightweight and very easy to use. It is very easy to load by simply opening the two latches on the side of of the unit then unscrewing the cap for the chamber that holds the chemical. Please note that this is a tool only purchase so you will need a Ryobi battery to power this great unit

The Ryobi ONE+ 18v Cordless handheld sprayer is lightweight, convenient, and easy to use. It holds 450 ml or 15 ounces of liquid, plenty of capacity to clean down bathrooms, kitchens, and any area that needs disinfecting. I've used the sprayer with water, with premixed solutions like Lysol, and with my DIY dollar store dish soap-vinegar solution; I didn't have a problem with any of the liquids coming out of the sprayer. With thinner liquids like water or Lysol, the spray droplets are like a mist. Likewise, with thicker liquids like my DIY dish soap-vinegar solution, the droplets are bigger. I love that I don't have to continuously pull the trigger to use the sprayer - just hold the button and go. Once I finished using the sprayer with any solutions other than water, I rinsed out the container, refilled it again with water, and ran the sprayer until it was empty to remove any remaining solution.

Another super Ryobi product. They never dissappoint with their quality and ease of use. This is a perfect home use sprayer for so many uses. As a disinfectant in bathrooms or as a quick disenfectant to bedding. I have also used it in the garden for spraying roses and fruit trees. It is easy to clean and maintain. the container and nozzel are easy to clean between different uses. Using the ONE battery it makes it a wonderful useful tool to add to my others.

The Ryobi One+ Cordless Hand held sprayer (tool only) is a good product when you need to spray any product with a water-like consistency (other than petroleum products) onto a surface. These products could be disinfectants, cleaners, pesticides and would be good for spraying fertilizer mixtures onto plants for leaf-feeding them. This sprayer will accept any One+ 18V battery and I used a smaller one so I could keep this sprayer light. I like the easy to use trigger and fact that I don't have to constantly pull a lever or pump it. The spray pattern is fixed and emits a fine mist that will coat any surface within a couple of seconds. The spray pattern/spray volume isn't adjustable and the unit will not spray when held upside down. The pickup tube in the 15 ounce tank has to be submerged in the liquid or it won't spray. The tank is very easy to attach/detach, fill and is made of a translucent plastic so you can see how much is left in it. After using any chemical or possible corrosive liquid you have to empty the tank and flush the sprayer before storage. This sprayer is a good product that works well. An adjustable spray pattern would have made it better. It doesn't include the battery or charger.

This is a very specific tool from Ryobi. I have many plants in my house and at my office. I have figured out the watering issue by using a backpack, but the spraying/misting job has always been an issue. When i mist my bonsai or have to apply oils to citrus trees (to combat scale), i have been using a spray bottle. My hands often cramp up, or the spray bottle will not spray uniformly.
This sprayer has fixed that. A small reservoir, but enough to handle many plants at once. The mist cannot be adjusted. It is fixed at a basic fine mist spray (see last photo). The tip can be removed by screwing out, which leads me to believe that additional tips for other types of spraying, can be purchased.
All in all, this tool will get major use from me. If you care for plants that need to be kept moist, this may just be the tool for you.

The Ryobi cordless handheld sprayer is so light weight a child could use it, you can use your 18 volt battery that all the Ryobi tools use. The tank easily comes on a off to fill and refill disinfectants, I used it to spray vinegar on my patio furniture to get rid of the moss and around my house for disinfecting. The spray comes out evenly and there was no overspray, the tank fills up to 15 ounces of liquid.

We just received this RYOBI ONE+ 18V CORDLESS HANDHELD SPRAYER and are delighted; this is a very compact and lightweight "tool", and we are able to use it interchangeably with our RYOBI batteries; this RYOBI ONE+ 18V CORDLESS HANDHELD SPRAYER is very functional and versatile, it has a widespread spray nozzle, which will cover large areas; since it is very lightweight and portable, with a long-lasting attachable battery, you can go almost anywhere and use it to spray various solutions, such as cleaning liquids, mold deterrents (bleach or such), deodorants, fertilizers, etc; we plan on using it to apply fertilizers to our extensive garden areas, which will reduce time and enhance convenience of not having to hand pump, spray, hand pump, spray, etc; we have an extensive collection of RYOBI products and we love them; we especially love the fact that we can interchange the batteries, easily and quickly; our cat, Prince Wolfgang Puss'N Boots del Reina de Los Gatos del Hacienda Garcia approves!

The Ryobi Handheld sprayer is a great tool for covering large surface areas or having a need to cover multiple areas frequently. Setup was as easy as filling the canister up with your disinfectant/liquid of choice, attaching it to the sprayer and pressing the trigger. Spraying provides a consistent and even spray from the nozzle. Unit itself is quiet when spraying.
There is no adjustable nozzle, so the spray pattern is set. The nozzle does rotate, but that is only to remove the nozzle for cleaning.
I can see this being useful in classrooms, offices or high touch point areas that need constant disinfecting. If you are disinfecting a surface here or there, you might be better off just sticking to a regular manual spray bottle.
I used the sprayer for disinfectant for the time being, but I see myself using the sprayer to help apply detailing mists to my car when it comes time to clean the car, as well as in the summer for applying diluted neem oil to the various garden beds we have at the house. I think it would be neat if additional canisters were sold separately incase one wanted to swap out to different liquids with ease.
Manual states that anything that is the consistency of water can be used, however anything thicker has the potential of clogging the nozzle.
There is some drippage from the nozzle after spraying so be mindful of that.
As always, the 18v system from Ryobi is amazing allowing me swap my batteries out between all my different 18v Ryobi products.
