Great versatile tool for my small business

The best rotary tool for my resin work
I am so happy my husband bought me this rotary Dremel tool! Its perfect for all my resin crafting. No more sandpaper! Excellent rotary tool!
I've been using the Ryobi tool for quite a while now and I find that is very handy for many applications around the home. I have used this tool for literally everything from cleaning up engine parts on my truck to sculpting and cleaning up scale models. Check out my video if you want to see some of the applications that I have used this tool for. This tool has always worked excellently no matter what I've used it for and I find that the motor is powerful enough to do everything I needed to do. I definitely recommend this product.

A unique design
There's not many rotary tools designed like this and it's perfect for what I needed, typically removing paint for tool restoration, carving and finishing joinery and work on plastics. I really like the versatility of wall mount or bench top use and the attachment storage, which is nicely made. Others mention the noise: it's not really louder than my router at full speed, but I think the pitch is what's bugging people. I've taken to wearing ear protection in the shop for nearly all tools and we all should. It is NOT as loud as a jet taking off, that's just silly. My old Dremel was easily this loud at full RPM. For me, being able to mount this on the tool wall on my clamping table and have the flexibility of a 36" cable drive is ideal. The variable speed stops are more than adequate.... if I needed to fine tune speed down to fractions of an RPM, I'd buy a more expensive tool. I chose the unique design, compatibility with my One batteries, and confidence in most Ryobi tools over other factors like variable speed without presets and marginal noise reduction. Ryobi hit the mark on this one.
