Worked Good
I thought the price was ok for the tool only. I have a blower as well. The one+ 18 volt battery fits that too. I used the drain auger for the first time yesterday and it worked very well. I wasn’t sure if I had all 25 foot of cable in the pipe. I spray painted a red marker on the cable just before the end of it. See attached pic.

this is the first ryobi tool I've ever bought... it leaks out out the pump housing. hardly has any vertical pull. I bought to pump out a tub and regret thinking just this one ryobi tool will be fine. hurt my pride to buy this junk. it pumps like a gallon a minute at 15 ft. it was cheap and I only needed it for this one thing thinking it may come in handy. it's loud and worthless
      Pulled out the roots!
Clog was about 20 feet in. Had used the snake a few times before and the line was kinked some. Still it worked and pulled out massive roots in 2" line. Elm tree roots SUCK! Flowing good for now.

Spend the money for a higher end Auger
Does not “auto feed”. No matter what position you are in, any kind of turn more than 45 degrees in the blocked pipe makes it useless as a drain auger. I had to use gloves to feed the wire into the drain and pull it out of the Ryobi Tool, “auto feed” will only make force the wire into a coil. Only useful feature is the “Clamp” and “Reverse Feed”. Drained a 4ah Battery in 13 minutes 27 seconds…. Yea, I actually timed it. I get well over an hour of continuous use with my weed whipper and blower with the 4ah Battery. Spend the money and get a good one.

I have a po where the skimmer has been left for two years to my knowledge.(could be longer) it was filled with dirt, leaves and seeds from trees. I had a pool company over who could not get it clear and I tried for hours manually. I saw this device and reviews via a pop up add and gave it a shot. It worked. And for the price. I bought one earlier for $ 35 less to do the job and failed. For $69 I got it done. Was a bit tough drawing it back in but watched a few YouTube videos and read some reviews before trying to operate. Love it and would recommend it to anyone. Does not come with battery but I had other ryobi tools so I already have a few batteries.

Great for half of a use!
Wouldn’t feed and then then auger snapped in half on first use. $200 would have gotten me a lot of draino

            Ryobi Hybrid 18v Transfer Pump
Amazing little pump! I pumped out a drainage ditch that was 1 foot deep and 50 feet long in about 30 minutes on one 4ah battery with plenty of juice left. The included bottom sucker screen worked great.

              Did the job
I used it to pump vinegar to clean my tankless water heater for 45 minutes. Happy with the result and paid for itself by avoiding the plumber's visit. Now I would not recommend it for continuous use or to pump thicker liquids. I pumped from a bucket and have not tried it with the triangular inlet. Recommend depending on final use.

Cable rust on first time but replaceable
Pros: Cheap and I am already in the Ryobi platform. Used it one time to unclog the slowly draining kitchen sink. Cheaper than calling a plumber and now I know how to use it. It will be a good tool to use for family and friends' house. Has a drain plug for the cable/ Cons: The Cable rust on the first time using it. The cable is replaceable but thought it will last a few times before it rusted. If I had to buy it again I probably would have bought the p4002 which is the hybrid one and you can change the tip of the cable. That one is much more expensive but if your clog is kitchen grease then that one might work better. If they had the same p4001 but 50 ft drum that would be awesome because if the clog is farther than 25FT then I would have to call a plumber. The professional 50FT one cost too much.

                  Wow, this thing is LOUD!
First and foremost I want to say thank you to Ryobi for making a battery powered water pump. Bought this thing just after a rain storm with high winds knocked out power and resulted in my dry basement taking on water for the first time. With no pump installed already and no power to our area I needed to somehow get the water out before it damaged . Without hesitation I looked at Ryobi tools since I have several one + batteries and whalla! Home Depot carried this transfer pump. Drove 60 miles round trip to grab one and within 5 minutes of opening the box had this little guy moving water out of a basement window through a garden hose. Took a minute or two to get water to flow through it since it was lifting it about two feet and then halving to push it another 4 1/2 feet upward. I had to help prime it a bit by lifting the inlet hose a few times and getting the water it pulled in to go through the pump. One single charged 4ah battery was enough to remove all the water plus excess in my drainage system. Wholly was I thrilled... for two reasons. The water was out and my brain stopped hurting from the noise level this thing produced while running. I'm talkin' to a level where I could not hear the person standing two feet away asking a question in their raised voice. I have run other water pumps and this by far is the loudest one I have ever heard. I was hoping for a quiet pump similar to the almost silent condensation pumps used for some mini split heatpumps, but not even close. Overall, this thing worked great. Get that noise level down to about 1/3 and you have a winner.
