Bad batch? Mine weren't hardened.
I'd never before bent a drill bit. It's possible I got a bad batch, but these were soft enough that the first one failed with moderate down-pressure in less than 10 seconds.

Great product with easy to use case
This was ordered online and shipped to my home without issue.
This is a great set of sharp drills that come in an easy to use case. All of the shanks are round and not slotted on this set. And sliding them in and out of their slots in the case is easy enough and without worries of slicing your fingers from force as these bits are plenty sharp. Though I haven't had a chance to use the larger bits, I have used several of the finer bits and haven't had issues with snapping bits like I have had with other brand bits. all in all these are a great set to have.

nice drill bits
The Ryobi 25 piece round shank drill bit set is a nice set of bits. Round shank bits only work in regular drills or drill press not in an impact gun. Yoy don't actually get 25 different size bits because there multiple bits of of certain sizes. Especially of the smaller sized bits which i always seem to brake them. All in all a good set of bits. Sizes range from 1/16 to 3/8. Comes with a nice plastic carrying case. The case lays flat and the bits tilt out so you can access them easier. They cut really well I tested them out on a piece of 3/4 oak and the 1/8 inch size went right through it like butter. I recommend them.

Great set, Great value
The Ryobi 25 pc round shank drill bits work great and are a great value. It would cost close if not over $50 to buy these individually when you can get the whole set and a carry case for half of that price. The case holds the bits securely but still easy to get out. The trays don't seem to tilt up like other Ryobi cases have, but still super easy to get the bit you need. The tray is clearly labeled what each size is, making it easy to grab correct bit 1st time.

In a time where everyone is going trendy with titanium this, titanium coating that, it’s great to have a complete set of bits that work and that there is a level of thoughtfulness putting it together. I’m this set you get extra bits on sizes that are most commonly used or commonly broken. This set is very complete, the drill bits are high quality, they work as advertised and it comes in one of the best cases I’ve had the pleasure to use. The bits click in place and always stay organized. You may end up spending more, but you will not get a better product.

Perfect starter or travel set
I have a much larger set of Ryobi drill bits but needed a smaller set that I could keep in my "travel tool bag" that I keep in my truck. This set is perfect as it contains all the common sized bits that I will use regularly. The case is about the size of my old pencil case from years ago and maximizes the internal organization. The bits are held securely but easy enough to remove. The case itself clips shut. I've tossed the case around a bit and all the bits stay securely in place.

Multiples of the more popular bits
A simple test of a Ryobi drill bit versus another type of drill bit proved to me which of the two is better. I was drilling into some thin metal, and the Ryobi drill bit quickly drilled out the hole with ease, while the other I tried took about 4 times as long and I had to press down on it to get it to even get it done, which also bent the metal. I like the fact that there are extras of the bits that are more popular, so it is not just one of each. Especially since a lot of times I tend to misplace the most used drill bits and it always seems to be the one that I needed. It comes in a nice case that will hopefully help me to keep them from disappearing. And the bits were easy to take out and put back into the case, just snap them back in. I also like the sharper tip that helps to keep the bit from walking.

Quality! Durable!
RYOBI comes through with some solid bits that are very durable. I needed to pre-drill holes on some 1x1 aluminum square tubing. The bit worked flawlessly over a dozen times and drilled right though as it did for the first one. No doubt it didnt loose its sharpness and the best part was that the bit didn't jump around. It started cutting through on contact. I like that they come in a nice case that can be secured and tossed into any tool bag or shelf. It helps with the organization and keeping everything where it should be. Perfection if you ask me. Definitely recommended!

Ryobi Black Oxide Round Shank Drill Bit Set
This 25 piece set is round shank black oxide finish drill bits. There are multiple bits of a few of the most commonly used sizes. Bits 1/8 and larger have their size markings engraved/embedded in the round shank. These bits are sharp and drill easily / effectively. This is a great set of small drill bits. The bits fit securely in the sturdy plastic hinged latching case, and size markings are clearly marked on the case.

Nice assortment
The RYOBI Black Oxide Round Shank 25-Piece twist drill set has a nice assortment of sizes. There are multiples of the smaller sizes that are easy to break and more difficult to sharpen. The latch on the case requires two hands to open. Other than that, a nice set. I used the 3/16" and 13/64" twist drills yesterday to drill through some steel. The cut nice and made a helical piece of swarf while cutting.
