          I purchased this saw after an ice storm damaged over...
          I purchased this saw after an ice storm damaged over 100 trees. I needed a lightweight long saw with minimal maintenance. Assembly was easy. Light enough to carry up a ladder, but extension allows many limbs to be cut from the ground. Cuts limbs quickly. I purchased 2 ea. 4Ah Ryobi One + lithium batteries to avoid battery charging delays. Only when working all day did I need to use the 2nd battery. Chain oil needed refill before the battery needed changing. Window to see chain oil level was a nice feature. The saw is lightweight, but with pole extended can cause torque on lower back. Be mindful of balance if on a ladder. I had a very large project. It was great to have a reliable low maintenance cutting tool that didn't slow me down.

          Haven't had a chance to use due to all the rain, but took it out of the box, oiled it up, retrieved one of my blower batteries and wall-la, it doesn't fit. apparently I need a different battery, the One+ battery has a notch or tab on it, I need the one without the tab! great.

          The brushless electric pole saw is just what I wanted...
          The brushless electric pole saw is just what I wanted to perform a number of limb trimming projects. Easy to use, cuts well with either two or all three of the extension poles. I rated it 4 stars since the quick connect fittings for the poles were loose out of the box. Maybe they should have 4 rivets instead of two.

          Works great, until it somehow broke (fixed myself)
          Pole saw is great, very powerful. After multiple hours of use (over separate work days). Chain stopped working all of a sudden, motor still made noise, but not chain rotation. Fortunately I am fairly handy, and took the head apart. Came to find out, the snap ring on the electric motor slipped, causing the work drive to slide towards the motor, disengaging the gear. Fortunately I was able to adjust the worm drive and repair the snap ring. Works great again! Will be returning if it happens again.
