Excellent, dremel compatible grinding wheels for rotary tools
These are great quality grinding wheels for the Ryobi PCL480 cordless rotary tool. I have found my rotary tool invaluable for making cuts in hard to reach metal pieces at odd angles and for other precision metal work.
I have the cutting wheels for this rotary tool, but up until now I did not have a grinding wheels, because I didn’t think they were made for this kind of tool. Was pleasantly surprised to find out RYOBI makes these grinding wheels for this tool. These excel and getting in hard to reach places like inside corner welds to clean up slag and other types of debris. The maximum rpm the support is 35,000, so keep your rotary tool under that and you should be fine. They are fairly heavy, and they need to be because of the thickness, so keep that in mind when running them. They work fantastically for grinding down mild steel, stainless steel, all types of low and high carbon steel. Don’t use them for aluminum. All around awesome grinding wheels.

Quality 1.5 Inch Grinding Wheels
Once in a while I need to do some minor metal grinding or sharpening. I found the RYOBI Metal Grinding Wheels 2-Pack to be a great addition to my grinding tool set. These wheels utilize the quick release EZ402 type of mounting system for easy on and off. They are very well constructed and great for small grinding or sharpening projects. I plan to use one of the wheels to sharpen one of my shovel blades for digging up stuff. BE SURE TO ALWAYS USE EYE PROTECTION WHEN GRINDING.
