Great Dremel brush substitute!
Received the Ryobi rotary wire brush set about one month ago. I do a lot of restoration on older motorcycles and rotary wire brushes are a must to clean off years of gunk in tight and small places. I had always used Dremel brushes as they last 4-5 time longer than the cheap brushes. These brushes have a similar quality to the Dremel type and I like the fact that they have colored shafts. Overall , a great substitute.

Work great in a Dremel - pay attention to speed!
The flat brush is 3/4" in diameter, 1/16" wide and the cup shaped brush is around 5/8" diameter, 5/16" long.
They both work great in my Dremel tool, though its important to note that Ryobi indicates a maximum speed of 15,000 rpm and Dremel does not always mark the rpm on the speed selector. Its also especially important to wear eye protection with these in case one of the wires came loose (more likely if you are running it faster than the recommended 15krpm), since you are likely to be working close to the workpiece.

Excellent
I’ve tried many from different rotary tools from different companies and I have to be honest, these ryobi tools are very nice , and the quality is excellent. I work on a lot of different projects. Everything from model making too Victorian home restoration. And these always come in handy. For example,, these are excellent for cleaning out old paint from a hand carved wood trim. Also they work perfect for adding scratch or scraps marks too any model that you would like to show a worn out look .
And The price is very reasonable witch is always a good thing.

Good brushes for rotary tool
I received the Ryobi processor in good condition.
The 1/8 inch shank fit well in my Ryobi rotary tool handpiece. In limited testing, I found the wire brushes to do well. The package says to limit RPM to 15,000.
Since I just received these, I can not make a determination as to durability or longevity. I expect that they will have a reasonable life but these are wear items. They are made in China.

Shooting wire pins
The wire flies right off the tool. The tiny wires shoot all over the place and can be found sticking into anything near it. If you are not wearing safety glasses, it can easily go into an eye.
