AnswersI have this tool and several different size batteries. This tool (18 volt) is really suited for lite duty on hard surfaces or small yards. While it will operate on even a 1.3 ah battery, you will notice less power and short time duration. I consider 4 ah the minimum size you need and I suggest you get at least two batteries.

AnswersI have had intermittent low speed function on my Ryobi Model P2108. The issue is the trigger switch itself. You can obtain this part from several parts dealers on the web. The exact part is as follows... Switch & Contact Plate Assembly Part Number: 291632001. This part is in actuality a rheostat / potentiometer which like turning a knob to increase or decrease power, like a volume control. It is easy enough to replace and should restore the full function of the unit.

This is more than adequate for my needs. In fact, I was blown away by its performance! All jokes aside, I live in a condo/co-op and have a bunch of leaves around the front porch and walk-way. It blew away wet leaves with ease. I am also looking to use this as an air dryer for when I wash off my vehicle. Will give an update on how that performs.

I have used this product fir 24 hours, with the trim line that came in the unit. I have used both the edging and trimming settings.
Edging took a little to get used to but once I did it was a breeze and very effective. (see images)
Using the switch to flip between the two settings only seems to work to go to the edging setting. I have to pick it up and mess with it to get it back to trimmer, and when I do and the unit is rotating, I can hear specs of dirt grinding in between - and keep in mind this is after just maybe 2 hours of use.
While weed eating, the trim line has, on more than one occasions 1) broken down to less than 1/2 inch and not extended out due to being twisted inside the spool (no image) and 2) extended, not auto cut and get caught up on the rotating motor! (see image) I was able the yank it out the first time, but I can't get it out the second time so, after about 4 hours of use, I will be returning it.

I've had this hammer drill for 3 years now and it's done everything I've needed it to do. It is a heavier drill with the bigger battery but it feels appropriate for the jobs at hand. I've drilled through masonry with this and have not had any problems. The drill battery lasts a long time and the drill is also quiet. If I had one small complaint it would be that it doesn't fit in the case very well with the handle mounted on the side and I really don't want to take that off and on to use the tool. This drill does meet my expectations. Please hit the thumbs up if this was helpful.

First, let’s start off buying saying I am in no way a professional. I am a DIYer. With that said, this DIYer puts out quality work. I’ve used this drill for drywall, deck building, cabinet building and general things you would use a drill for. This drill has not failed me. It’s always been a powerful drill. It has never bogged down when I’ve drilled long screws. The brake on this drill is incredible. A year later, still going strong.

I have never had a battery trimmer before, so I was a bit worried that it would die before I got everything done. Not only did it do everything I needed it to do, but it still had half the battery left. About 20 minutes. I also used it as an edger and that worked much better than expected. It trimmed the drive quick fast and clean. I'll add a picture. It does use string, but so did my gas powered trimmer. I'm very happy.
