Never new this kit existed and thought I would have to Google how to install my lock but this kit by Ryobi is very easy to use and makes an exact hole for the door lock or knob. Very simple to use and all peices you need are included can’t wait to use this kit again.

I researched this as a low-cost alternative to replacing the arbor for my Ryobi hole saw kit. I have lost the hole-saw nut that is so important in this set. In my photo below, I've done the research to show others that this is an M12-1.25 Metric nut, available in HD for about $0.60, plus an M12 washer, (5 pack, $0.60), and two larger washers. Optionally you can glue the M12 washer to the nut to help identify it as special (in case it wants to get mixed into your "miscellaneous" drawer). The whole setup was under $3 and spared me the expense of buying a new hole saw kit just because I lacked one part.

AWFUL. This was endlessly frustrating. I had the same issue as other reviewers mentioned - the nut did not tighten enough around the drill bit, and ended up just tearing up the door. It wouldn't go through the door all the way. It's going back to Home Depot tomorrow, and now I'm just hoping I can find something else to finish the job and salvage the door...

The saw hole cutter striped out the second time I used it. Then when I went to tighten the Allen screw that striped out rendering it useless. Had to buy another hole saw from the closest store which happened to be Lowe’s. Sorry can’t recommend this product.

Bought this to install a deadbolt on a tool cabinet build. It was easy to use and helped line everything up perfectly. Took a lot of guesswork out of the project versus trying to line everything up by eye or independently measuring each component to get things lined up. Had the holes cut and lock installed in less than thirty minutes. Well worth the investment.

The drill bit is not deep enough to go all the way through a standard door. After two uses the treads to bolt the door knob bit to a drill bit stripped. Very disappointing.
