I bought this item hoping for a pull cord. They have tabs that are hard to hook. I am not happy...
I bought this item hoping for a pull cord. They have tabs that are hard to hook. I am not happy with them. Will replace them when I can find a blind with a pull cord. They are hard to find now. Everything is either a crank or these tabs. You have to snag the cord that holds the slats together at the top and bottom after you put the blind at the height you want them. You have to do this on both sides and hope you get it level. They are hard to do and I don't know why anyone would make a blink like this. I am very displeased with them. Have included a photo.

Shade is good quality but without a cord. The flimsy plastic clips break on second or third use. So shade is down 100% of the time unless you devise your own way to keep it up. If the clips were metal, it would work better. Also, you have to climb up high on a chair to roll it up and down if it's mounted above where you can reach.

I do not like the method used to secure these shades when rolled up.
prefer the older models with pull cord. I understand why cords are no longer available but these are really very inconvenient. Only reason considered was because they will maily remain in up position where I have them.

The sun sets on the back of my house, so...
The sun sets on the back of my house, so I’m using this shade to block the sun in the evening. So far it seems to be doing a good job, however until summer gets here that’s the true test. It’s lightweight and was easy to hang (hooks included). It doesn’t have a pull cord to bring it up or let it down, It has plastic hooks, which are easy to use but after time goes by if not careful they could compromise the threading.
