Q:Is there a limit to the length of one run? I have a very long border and am afraid the plants at the end will not get as much water. Maybe that's what the pressure regulator is for.

only 10 not 30 in the pack
There are only 10 in the bag instead of 30. I used 1 and notice there is not enough.

These work great. I used the 1/2 inch tube from Home Depot and the little puncture tool as well. Around bigger plants I put two of these. On one of the smaller plants, when the 1/2 tube relaxed the emitter was pointed the wrong way so a little hose and all is good. These are connected to my reclaimed water, I capped a sprinkler to feed the 1/2 inch tube. No more dragging out the hose to water these plants!
In the photos I haven't put down the mulch yet so you can see the emitters, but once the mulch goes down it'll all be covered.
Just be careful is you use the 1/2 inch tube. Different manufactures have different size 1/2 inch tube....... So some T fittings and unions and whatnot for one manufacturer will not fit a different manufacturers tube. Get the universal connectors to save frustration and another trip to HDepot.

Long term operation.
I use just one of these (running continuously) to water my entire yard. Individual "Mist Sprayers" adjust the drip rate for each plant. Most drip emitters peter out after a few days of continuous use so I special ordered these from my local Home Depot.
