The manifold screws onto 1/2" male threaded risers. It connects to 1/4" Drip tubing by snipping off the cap on each port and inserting the tubing onto the port.
The barbs in my kit use1/4 size tubing.
You need to purchase Rain Bird's RC-KIT, which includes a spray body with a pressure regulator, and an adapter that allows you to connect drip tubing. Most current pop-up sprinklers already installed most likely do not include a pressure regulator.
Not sure what a spot spitter is, but if you mean a dripper, then the answer is yes. These manifolds do work with drippers.
Nope, you have to put it on a 1/2-inch riser.
Whatever your line pressure is, that you install it on, is the tubing pressure.
What I have done is zip tie a short piece of 1/4" tubing over itself. Install that on your unused outlet ports. No leaks.
