We had our wood floors refinished, then immediately moved into a full facelift on the rest of the house. It included top-to-bottom paint, a complete re-do of our fireplace wall, cabinet refinishing, & new countertops. Painting required the use of double-tiered scaffolding and several elements of the project required sanding. We used Ram-Board to protect our beautiful refinished floors through the duration of the project. It even offered protection from the heavy 12-ft scaffolding on casters. It's easy to lay down and provided all the protection we needed.
Recommendations: Adhere to the Ram-Board use instructions. Use the Ram-Board tape and apply ONLY to the Ram-Board. Do NOT apply it directly to the floor. Use blue tape applied perpendicular to the Ram-Board edge wherever you need to apply directly to the floor. Also, wipe up spills immediately to take full advantage of Ram-Board's Spill-Guard technology.

We used this ram board to protect our new LVT flooring during the remaining construction of our basement. We had a leak in an upstairs toilet that rained into the basement. The flooring under the drenched ram board was perfectly dry! I highly recommend this!

I've bought this last week for use as a workbench and assembly table topper for painting. Nice heavy and tough paper based product. Beats slippery vinyl sheets or flimsy newspaper (if you can find some!). Cuts easily with heavy duty scissors or a sharp box cutter type knife. Takes a while to lay flat so I use some quick acting clamps to make the Ramboard section lie flat and eliminate any movement on my melamine faced assembly table.
Downside is the price! Dropping the rating by one point, as it is a paper product, after all... $29.99 plus tax puts this at about 65 cents per linear foot. Good news is that 50 feet should go a long way (pun intended) for my situation, and I expect to be able to reuse the Ramboard in this application for quite a while.

Ram Board is a standard in the commercial construction industry for protecting newly installed floors. We ordered this product online for in-store pick-up. The quantity we needed was in stock and ready within a couple hours. This was a quick and easy way of ordering and saved us a lot of time looking for the product or having it shipped from another source. The price was very competitive with other suppliers and more convenient to obtain. The 50 ft. rolls are a little easier to handle.

Good stuff this Ram board
This is the best floor covering for protection of any floor. First thing you need to know is to turn it over it and it won't roll upon you. So just one layer is all you need. Sometimes a liquid will get through it, but if you clean it right away, you will save that $10,000 wood floor you just installed. We are rolling scaffolding over this so I will need a little Masonite at those areas. generally rolling carts and hand carts will go over it no problem. although I think this is the most expensive stuff I reuse it on project after project, till it is gone. then I get more.
