I believe that the sleeves are standard and should fit. It comes with a sleeve, so if not, change it out.
Current for cooling is 6.66/7.26A, current for heating (heat pump) is 5.74/6.2A.
MOCP for this unit is 20 amps, continuous current ranges from 5.74 to 7.26 amps depending on mode & level.
The operating sound level is advertised at 60 dB.
Question 1: When set temp is reached, compressor will fully stop in heating & cooling. In cooling mode, the fan will run continuously but will drop to the lowest programmable fan speed when set temp is reached. In heating mode, the fan will drop lower than the lowest fan speed. This is to maintain accurate temperature readings of the ambient room air & turn the compressor back on when needed. Question 2: This unit has 3 function modes: cooling, heating, & fan only; it will not independently switch between heating & cooling modes.
This unit is intended to be installed through a wall opening, using the included sleeve & grille. Compared to window units, mini split systems, & portable consoles this would be considered "built in" but the unit can be removed from the sleeve & replaced if necessary. System is 208~230V.
The units come with a drain kit that consists of an elbow that screws to the wall sleeve. In most cases customers just install the elbow, but if you needed to disperse the water to another location you can simply add a drain tube to the elbow.
The units are quiet, not as quiet as a mini split unit but still for the most part quiet. The PTAC units run at 40 Dba vs 32 Dba on a mini split air conditioner.
Yes it does on the evaporator.
They have been switched over to heat pumps, the specs need updating, sorry for the inconvenience.
