Recommended with some cautionary notes... I used Rapid Set Self Leveling Sealant in Sandstone and Grey to repair mortar joints on a patio with brick pavers (horizontal brick is rarely a good idea). The stuff is runny, especially the first 12 - 20 inches of bead. It separates in the tube, so plan on wasting a squeeze or two before you get consistent product. The good thing about being runny is that it penetrates downward into cracks better than regular caulk. The bad things are that: 1. It has no body to adhere in a large crack and fill it by bridging to the sides and supporting itself like regular caulk can do, 2. It drips after you stop running the bead even if you release the pressure on the caulk gun...so you get drops and strings in places you don't want _ it's messy, 3. Forget about vertical cracks, it simply runs out unless it is a very small crack, 4. If you have deep cracks or ones that open below to empty space, this stuff will flow all the way to the lowest point before it fills up the crack, so be sure to stuff the crack before you start (true for any caulk work, but more so for Rapid Set.) On the plus side, it is sticky...I can't get it off me even with Goof Off and shop cleaner. P.S. Neither Sandstone or Grey matches the Buff mortar on my patio. Grey is close for regular concrete. I pressed some buff mortar from the bag used to install the patio into the Sandstone caulk to try to get a better color match.

I am one of those who sometimes uses items for things other than what is listed on the product. This time, I decided to try the Rapid Set Self-Leveling Sealant in Sandstone to fix a folding table that was still good but the support for the legs was constantly falling out of the holes. So, I set to work to fix that so that I could, once again, use the table. The first thing I noticed about this sealant was that it was NOT caulking! I had to treat it differently. This sealant is more like glue. It is thin so you have to be careful not to put the plunger on the caulking gun to hard or too swiftly. Once I got the hang of using it, I was able to fill the holes where the supports sit and then set the supports and seal around them. Well, I have to tell you that this stuff really works!! My table is now usable and the seal is tight. I would recommend this product. Also, it was easy to clean up the mess I made before knowing that this was glue and not caulk!

The stuff works well, tho I’m not finished with my project bc they ran out. It is very seld settling, but it could actually be a little thicker. If there’s a small gap that runs into a hole or open area, it just keeps settling even with backer Rod. Therefore, you use probably 40% more. Then it can block more crevices instead on continuing to run somewhere under ground. That being said, I would buy again.
