Can not tighten it down sufficiently by hand to keep it from turning or from leaking. As the tightening collar is plastic, fearful it will crack if pliers are used. Would not recommend.

I originally bought plastic splitters but after a few weeks...
I originally bought plastic splitters but after a few weeks in the sun the plastic didn’t hold up and it began to leak. These brass splitters work great and you can really tighten the splitter without worrying anout it breaking.
