Raypak's Electronic Ignition Heater is the perfect choice to help get more enjoyment out of your pool. It is a quality heater that features temperature and flow control of the exchanger to minimize condensation. This heater offers Stainless steel burners, and textured powder coat finish. Cabinet and the internals are corrosion and rust resistant; it offers powder coating, polymer headers, and Cupro-nickel-fin-tube heat exchanger. Has a unitherm governor that prevents condensation.

can this be plugged in or does it need to be hard wired

hard wired 120 or 240 MAKE SURE TO READ the Owner's manual CAUTION: If the transformer’s primary side is wired for 120 VAC and 240 VAC is applied, damage to the transformer and PC board may result. Such damages are not covered under manufacturer’s limited warranty

Standard warranty is 60 days. If registered on Raypak’s website with proof that it was installed professionally, it goes to two years.

The short answer is yes. However, this model's heat exchanger is much better suited to handle acidic or salty water. cleanandsafepools.com
