It's kind of hard to write a review for a shovel but this shovel is of good weight and comes with a wood sealer so if you keep it out of the rain it'll look and last for a long time. This is replacing my old dried out shovel that lasted the test of time. It's of good weight and solid. You get what you pay for and this shovel is worth every penny. The best use for it is to outline where the grass meets the mulch. I would call it an outline shovel. The handle is the perfect length to do that. My mother always says things aren't made like they us to but this is the same or better than the old ones.

I needed a shovel like this for transferring dirt and gravel because the one I have is too large for me to pick up if it's too full. And I already knew that Razor-back tools were excellent quality and this is no exception. This shovel is very well made, comfortable to use, and is just the right size for me (a very petite woman). I'm looking forward to many years of projects using this shovel.

I love the products from Razor-Back tools. This is my 4th tool from them. The reason I choose this brand is the quality and the sturdiness of their products. My old one (another brand) the handle and the blade kept coming loose. So it was time to replace with a new one. I wanted the D-grip style handle to make it easier to handle and control. The handle shaft is made from North American hardwood. The one thing I notice on the steel blade was the extra long socket on the blade for a strong connection between the handle and blade. The blade and shank is made of forged steel. The blade is made in India. The best thing is that is comes with a Lifetime Warranty from defects.

I got this shovel to help me when I work on my driveway filling holes with crushed rock. This shovel weights over 5 pounds so shoving it into a piles of crushed rock is not as difficult and we got the rock moved around. I also use the to move bark into the garden The bark was big chunky bits and had it spread in no time. Since this has a wooden handle it needs to be kept in the garage

We are going to get mulch delivered in a few weeks and realized that the shovels we had were not the best for the job, the all had a rounded blade, so we ordered the Razor-back solid steel blade with a perfect size width, 9 1/2 “. It’s great for me because any bigger would be to heavy loaded with mulch. It has a very sturdy and durable wood handle that will last for many years. The sides are turned up so that you won’t lose the material that you shoveling. It has a nice size foot rest for digging in if your going to use it for edging your flower/Bush beds. Because of the design it appears that you can replace the handle easily. And best of all it has a LIFETIME WARRANTY. Overall I would highly recommend this shovel.
