The Razorri Solido S2 complete sharpening stone kit enables you to safely and easily sharpen and polish all of your bladed instruments. Dull blades are not just ineffective but are also dangerous to you and those around you. With our two double-sided sharpening stones you can take pride in having knives so sharp you can shave the hairs off your arm. Our stones don't require fancy oils to use, just some standard tap water is enough to lubricate your blade as it moves across the sharpening stone. Even beginners can sharpen knives like a Pro.
Trust honest abe: "give me six hours to chop down a tree and I will spend the first four sharpening the axe." - Abraham Lincoln, if uncle ABE took the time to sharpen his axe, you should too
Choose your grit: our complete kit comes with stones in 4 different grits so you can do everything from repairing chipped blades to honing your already-sharpened kitchen knife
Flawless angles: the hardest part of sharpening is maintaining a precise angle on your blade, with our durable angle guide, all you have to do is slide the knife into the guide and you are ready to go
Flatten your stones: after continued use, your stones will start to wear out and become uneven in some places, just like the path in your carpet from the front door to the couch, the included flattening stone smooths everything out to return your stones to a certain flatness
Safety first: the non-slip rubber pad will keep your stones from moving around as you sharpen allowing you to focus on sharpening your blades without worrying about slicing through your finger

This is a really terrific sharpening kit. You get stones in 400, 1000, 3000, and 8000 grits as well as a range of useful accessories. You can sharpen anything from an axe to a paring knife. Not sure if you could sharpen a razor, for that I would go back to my Arkansas soapstone, but for anything else, this kit is perfect. I like that the stones are back-to-back. This gives some extra working height, so I don't need to put them at a table edge or something. It also makes them less prone to breakage. The accessories include a leather strop, an angle guide, and a dressing stone for leveling the other stones when they start to wear. That last one is a really nice touch. I can't recommend this kit highly enough.

What at first seems like a comprehensive sharpening stone kit has a few shortcomings, at least for beginners. You get 2 stones measuring 7” x 2-3/8” x 1-1/8”, each with a rubber holder. Each stone has 2 grit levels, a 400 and 1000 for the first, with a 3000 and 8000 for the second. When sharpening you place one of the water-soaked stones with the rubber holder on to the bamboo base which has a rubber pad to prevent it from moving. There is also an angle guide to help beginners maintain 20-degree angle, note not all knives manufacturers use the same angle. A leather strop for polishing and flattening stone for flattening your sharpening stone are also included. Lastly, you get 3 pages of instructions in various languages.
What you don’t get are detailed instructions on how to properly use this kit. No explaining of the process or illustrations to show you technique. Going to their website reveals two videos set to music with no instructions whatsoever. It is very disappointing when the manufacturer won’t tell you how to properly use their product. I guess one could argue that this kit is meant for those who already know how to sharpen knives, but why include the angle guide or vague instructions for “new sharpening stone owners”? I finally had to resort to third party videos to learn the fundamentals.
I do like that these stones use plain water for lubrication vs oil. This makes it easy to use the stone anywhere without making an oiling mess. Just put the stone into a container of water for ten minutes and it ready to use.
After some online learning I was able to take a 30-year-old dull French knife and restore the edge and sharpen it to were it would slice through paper. While there is still plenty of room to improve my skills and get the an even sharper edge, I now know that with this kit we won’t be dealing with unsafe dull knives anymore. I only wish Razorri would have provided better instructions and some instructional videos.
Quick tip: Try marking the knife edge with a marking pen to help you maintain the correct manual angle. To remove ink, use acetone or nail polish remover.

This is truly a product that will last you for the rest of your life as it is a quality made item that is very easy to use. It comes with double sided sharpening stones that are different grit ranging from 400 grit up to 8000 grit and it also comes with a leather strap as well as a bamboo base that the stone sets in and an angle guide to maintain proper angle while sharpening blade.

The Razorri Solido Whetstone Knife Sharpening Kit was less than I expected. As a novice, I was expecting a step-by-step instruction sheet, but there was nothing. No instructions of any kind. The stones all seem nice and flat and the rubber holders and bamboo plate firmly holds the stones in place.
I had watch several YouTube videos to get some basic instructions before I could use anything in the kit. I found that the knife guide is difficult to use properly. It requires that your tilt up on the knife blade while pressing down on the guide to maintain a consistent angle. And, if you press too hard the guide slides off the knife. After numerous tries, I gave up on the knife guide and did my best to hold the knife blade at what appeared to be the proper angle.
I did not use the strop because it seems too short for a large knife. And, I am not sure of exactly when or how often to use the flattening stone. I will continue to look for other videos and tutorials online to help me understand how and when to use these items that were included in the kit.
I was able to successfully sharpen two knives (a kitchen knife and my pocket knife) to a very fine sharpness, but it took a considerable amount of time. I am sure that with additional practice I will get better at sharpening and once all of my knives have been sharpened once or twice it should get easier to maintain a good sharp edge.
An instruction booklet or online tutorial and an easier to use knife guide would be a big plus to this kit.

This sharpening kit comes with two double sided sharpening stones that use water to lubricate the blade while sharpening. This is a big improvement over the old fashioned, messy oil stones. The coarse stone is 400 & 1000# grit, the fine stone is 3000 & 8000# grit.
As a former shop teacher, I have sharpened countless chisels and hand planes – but I usually have trouble with kitchen knives. This kit makes it easy to maintain a precise angle on both sides of a knife blade with the snap on angle guide. The guide helps control the position of the knife across the stone so a consistent sharpening angle can be achieved.
All of the components seem to be very high quality. Each stone has a rubber holder base that prevents the stones from sliding on the work surface. A leather strop is included for polishing blades to a razor-sharp edge. A flattening stone is also included for maintaining the stones if the surface becomes uneven.
I have sharpened my favorite kitchen knives and was surprised to see how quickly and easily the metal got removed in just a few passes over each of the grits. I am very satisfied with the results I was able to achieve using this kit.

These Razorri Solido wet stones are professional quality stones. Over the years I have used many different sharpening tools included stones. These are really the best I’ve seen or used. The contents include a leveling stone to keep the stones flat, a knife guide to help you with holding your knifes at the right angle if you are a beginner to sharpening on wet stones, and for those old enough to remember an old fashion shave at the barber shop a leather strap. The included instructions take you through the use and care of the stones, angle guide and strap. If you are serious about keeping your knifes razor sharp you need to get these.
I got the Razzori Sharpening stone set. The package came opened, it was not sealed shut, and must of opened during shipping. I contacted customer service to tell them that I was missing the angle guide. After verifying the original order, they are sending me the missing piece. This will hopefully help with the technique to sharpening my knives.

I feel the instructions were lacking and had to view some “how to” videos online to get a better understanding on proper use of wet stones. The sharpening process does take time and lots of practice to get good results. I found the stones quality to be particularly good and it is nice to have four different grits stones in one kit. The bamboo base and rubber pads work well but in my opinion the angle guide could be improved to make it easier to work with a knife on the stones.

I followed the instructions to sharpen a kitchen knife with surprisingly good results. The biggest challenge I had was maintaining the 20 degree sharpening angle. I did the process twice until I got the technique to work. The stone needs to be soaked in water for 5 to 10 minutes before use and it mounts in a base for ease of use. The leather strop removes any remnant metal chips left from the stone grinding leaving a clean sharp blade edge. It does take practice to become good at it but does work well.

I was really looking forward to using this whetstone, as my grandmother used one to sharpen out knives. I was disappointed when it arrived, however. The package was not taped shut, and it arrived somewhat hapazardly closed, but not correctly. I opened it to check the inventory, but there were no instructions, or the 1xAngle guide. I got everything else. I had to look up the manufacturer warranty/manual to see how to use it. Now I have to figure how to order an angle guide to use it. Everything else that arrived was in good shape and sealed in bubble wrap. I was lucky to get the merchandise.
Solido C3 400 and 1000 Grit Wood Carving Whetstone Sharpening Stone Kit with Multiple Grooves
The multiple grooves on the stone allow youThe multiple grooves on the stone allow you to find the perfect fit for any triangular or round chisel, gouge, or other kind of woodworking tool. If you have a straight blade you can flip the stone over and use the flat side so you don't need two separate stones. The 400 grit is better for repairing damaged knives or removing chips as it will grind away more material from the blade. The 1000 grit is good for general-use sharpening and adding a polish to your blade. ADDITIONAL TIPS: *Be patient and take your time while sharpening, it could take up to an hour to sharpen depending on how dull or damaged your blade has become. *If the stone starts to feel dry or you feel too much friction, spray a splash of water to the stone. *Wipe with a dry cloth and wait til the stones are dry before storage. This will help extend the lifespan of the sharpening stones.View Full Product Description
