Product Overview

The Razorri Solido S6 complete sharpening stone kit enables you to safely and easily sharpen and polish all of your bladed instruments. Dull blades are not only ineffective but are also dangerous to you and those around you. With our two double-sided Alumina Oxide sharpening stones you can take pride in having knives so sharp you can shave the hairs off your arm. Our stones don't require fancy oils to use, just some standard tap water is enough to lubricate your blade as it moves across the sharpening stone. The #400 grit is only for repairing knives or chipped blades as it will remove more material from the blade. The #1000 is good for general-use sharpening, while the higher grit #3000 and #8000 stones are best for honing your already-sharpened blades. Once done with sharpening and honing, you can use the leather strop to remove any lingering burrs and produce a mirror-like polish on your blade. ADDITIONAL TIPS: * Maintaining the angle is a breeze thanks to our 15-degree angle guide, which attaches to your knife. * Be patient and take your time while sharpening, it could take up to an hour depending on how dull or damaged your blade has become. * If the stone starts to feel dry or you feel too much friction, add more water to the stone.
  • Upgraded 15° angled base: no more bending over nor awkward toil wrist angles with the ergonomically inclined base, simply guide your blade down the 15° angled bamboo base to let gravity do all the hard work for you, lighter gesture even keep sharpening for a long time.
  • Easy to use: simply soak the alumina oxide stone in water for 10-minutes and you are ready to start sharpening, razorri waterstones are much easier to use than Arkansas stones or slip-stone grinders and a lot less messy than oil-based stones
  • Choose your grit: our complete kit comes with stones in 4-different grits so you can do everything from repairing dull, damaged blades to putting a honed edge on your razor-sharp chef's knife or straight razor
  • Complete kit: this kit includes a 400/1000 grit stone for sharpening dull and damaged blades and a 3000/8000 grit stone for refining the edge of your blade, leather strop can be used at the end of sharpening to put a super-fine edge on your blade
  • Ideal gift: nice packing for the complete kit for beginners, value of money and giftable for your family and friends no matter daily or festival

The Razorri Solido Stone kit is a great kit for beginners and experienced knife sharpeners. The included instructions are easy to follow. It looks great on the bamboo holder, and the included rubber frame for the block feels nice and secure. The twenty degree angle holder is a great tool to get used to how to hold a blade at the proper angle. I was able to sharpen a knife and even some scissors with ease. I love that with this set you have control over the blade path and angle it's an improvement over the standard v shaped kitchen tools. It looks and feels very professional, but it's easy to get started with even for a beginner.

This is a nice kit for beginners like me. I like this kit that comes with all you need to start learning to sharpen knives. It comes with two sets of dual grit stones, a 15 degree wooden stand, a sharpening guide. leather strop, and a leveling stone too. I like the detail instructions that it comes with. See pics. There is even a leveling stone when your sharpening stones get worn or grooved. So its a nice feature to have this for later. I would recommend from watching youtube videos to soak the grinding stones in water and not just sprinkle water on it. As I was pushing the knife across the stone I would sprinkle water to keep it wet and not dry out. The guide really helps and was easy to insert on my knife to help me be consistent with the angle of the grind. I think with practice I can try to do without it. Following the instructions I then finish with the leather strop to finish the edge. Okay it was sharp and I think with practice using this kit I will get better at it. I tried it on all my steak knives and gave them decent edge. Overall, its a great kit that has everything I think you need to sharpen knives. There are loads of youtube videos to give you all the tips from others on how they sharpen knives that you can follow with this complete kit.

The grits of the stones in the kit are sufficient for any sharpening you want to do. The main reason I picked this kit is that it comes with a 15-degree angle guide. It can be hard to get the sharpening angle just right, and the guide makes it easy for even a novice to put a consistent edge on a knife or other cutting blade. The combination of different grits is perfect and allows sharpening even the dullest knives. For a dull knife, start with the coarsest grit - 400, then move to 1,000. The higher grits allow honing a super fine edge for cutting vegetables (3,000 or even 8,000 grit). The leather strop is functional for removing any residue. The rubber pads do a good job of holding each stone in place during sharpening, and the attractive bamboo base is a nice aesthetic feature that also holds the stone at an easy-to-use angle. Note that these are intended to be used after soaking the stones in water for about 10 minutes - which is much easier to use and clean up than stones that are intended to be used with oil. If you’re just getting started with sharpening, get this kit.

My wife and I do a lot of cooking and we know how important sharp knives are. I have several sharpening tools I use, but I was excited to receive and use this sharpening kit. One of its most attractive features is its ability to maintain a correct 15 degree sharpening angle of the knife blade while sharpening. It’s a complete kit that includes the most important stone grits you’ll need. The instructions are written in two languages, English and, interestingly, German. I also found it interesting that some of the important instructions are contained in the product description and on the internet, and not in the enclosed instructions. You must be patent as proper knife honing takes time. I found that the 1 centimeter space between the stones on the blade guide will catch the edge of the sharpening stones and obstructs the smooth movement of the knife blade.

I am a cook and nothing make me happier that a sharp knife. Having various types of knives, I decided to try the Razor Solido sharpening stone set. The User Manual is a great source for employing the correct stone surface for the job. The bamboo base is ergonomically set at 15 degrees. An angle guide attached to the knife sets the blade at 20 degrees. After working a few of my knives, I used the leather strop to either polish or straighten the blade. In time, I will use the flattening stone to level out the stones. In the final test, I was able to slice through a sheet of paper with each knife. The stone set will get years of use.

Sharp tools are safer, take less effort and achieve a better result that dull tools, cutting and shaving rather than tearing and skipping. I have used the Razzori Sharpening stones on kitchen knives, pocketknives, wood carving tools and chisels and am very satisfied with the results. The system includes two water stones with non-slip rubber bases, a 15° ergonomic bamboo base, a sharpening guide, a leather strop, and a flattening stone. Working through the grits, the first stone is #400 on one side for rough work and #1000 in the other. The second stone is #3000 and flips to #8000 for a fine edge. The angle guide does not help with narrow blades but works well with blades over an inch wide. The leather strop works well to polish the edge. The detailed instructions are helpful for those not familiar with sharpening systems. And if the stones start to get uneven with sharpening small tools, the flattening stone can even them out again. Since I received my Razorri set, I have been sharpening all my tools and I am well pleased with the results.

Razorri is a brand I am unfamiliar with, but it didn’t disappoint. This is a really terrific sharpening kit. I’ve tried electric sharpeners, a steel and other stones but was never quite happy. This whetstone kit has two stones in 400/1000 and 3000/8000 grits. The leather strip is used to remove any lingering burrs so you can have blades that are polished and a super fine edge which I love. With the 15-degree angle guide it really sharpens my knives nicely. Because the stones are water based, it eliminates the oil mess, but you do need to soak the stone in water for 10 minutes before starting. I found that the size of stones are comfortable to work with. I’m kind of a culinary buff and love home cooking, so this is a nice addition to have to take care of my knives. With care, anyone can use this kit. Has a nice 1 year warranty.

Very nice set: non-slide angled bamboo base at 15° and a pair of double sided stones with rubber holders, (good for keeping it place when in use on a flat surface). Not for serrated knives. Stones are 400, 1000, 3000 and 8000 grit. There is an angle guide with ceramic rods to help you learn the angle/holding technique and a flattening stone if you wear to ever a divot in a stone. The guide works best on larger (taller) knives to learn. Most kitchen knives are sharpened to 15°-20°. The 15° is typical for Japanese blades and the 20° is typical for US and Euro type blades. It's important to maintain a consistent angle, good grip on the handle, pressure (with your other hand) on the blade, and to sharpen the entire length of the blade. Use water to lubricate the stones and blade. It may help to thoroughly wet the stones before you start. The 400 grit is used to remove severe defects in the edge; I seldom need to use it. I start with the 1000, perhaps 5 strokes on each side then repeat - the same with the 3000 grit stone. This is not a fast process; it takes me 15 to 20 minutes to sharpen a knife; and a bit of an art to hear the 'grinding' noise diminish then flip it over and do the other side; then repeat with the finer grit stone. Remember to always 'cut into the stone' when sharpening. The strop is used the opposite way if you use it, more of a polishing. Contrary to the pictures in the instructions, however the text is correct!

Convenient And Easy to Use.
Works really well and is very easy to use, the angle guider was very convenient and helped me learn the angle to sharpen it. Also seemed to be high quality. Though shipping said expected in 2 weeks, I got it the very next day. One of my best purchases.
