Designed for sound reduction and insulation, this Reflective Air Garage Door Insulation Kit features eight pre-cut panels that are ready to install. Each panel features two layers of sealed air that are laminated between two layers of reflective polyethylene. No special tools are required for installation.

Would definitely buy again
There is a definite change in the garage after this was installed, it made a noticeable change in the temp during install and has maintained a good temp on cold days, still wondering what it will be like in the summer, only problem i had was they dont provide enough double sided tape, i bought a couple rolls to make it extra secure

Easy to install
Is this product worth $45? Yes! The materials; however, not so much. It is a box of metallic bubble wrap and double sided adhesive stickers. I think the markup price is much higher than production cost BUT even with that said, it is extremely easy to install and the stickers are holding up great. These have tremendously helped keep the garage warm and regulate the heat. TWO CAR GARAGE: you’ll need to purchase 2 kits. This is 8 individual panels.

I have two single garage doors that get full morning sun. These panels lowered the temperature by 20 degrees. Easy to cut. Make sure you allow for some dead air space between panels and door for optimum effectiveness. My panels fit into frames in the door; I cut them 1/4 inch larger on two sides to allow slight bowing for dead air space.

I got this and the styrofoam option and ended up just returning the styrofoam option. This was easy to cut and install and it worked well. The styroform option just wasn't worth the mess and hassle after how well the Reachbarrier worked. I live is Arizona and get the morning and afternoon sun on my garage and it would radiate heat all afternoon. It's easily 15 degrees cooler!

Very quick and easy to install. I have a 2 car garage with 2 garage doors. 16 panels per door that are 21"x21" each. It receives the afternoon sun and gets hot very quickly, thus heating up the garage and subsequently the bedroom above. With 2 people, this took about 45 min per door, from opening the box, cutting the pieces, cleaning the door where the sticky tape went to popping the panels in. We did this just a few days ago, and then came a cold snap, so I cannot speak to the heat reduction, but I can say that when it was 35 degrees outside this morning, it was 68 degrees in the garage, so I'm thinking this stuff works! Looking forward to seeing how effective it will be in the summer. Plus it looks nice and clean (and space age!)

Ever since I started listening to my garage about two weeks ago I have seen a big difference in the temperature. It has done exceptionally well and keep in the cold weather out in the heat in. This is a great product.
