A: Our Auto Emergency Hammer and Seat Belt Cutter will work on passenger and driver side windows on newer cars, but we do not recommend trying to use this on the front windshield.

A: Yes, it can break the glass of a fire extinguisher cabinet as long as the glass is either tempered up to 0.12" thick glass or a non-automotive glass.

A: Our Automotive Emergency Hammer and Seat Belt Cutter was only designed to shatter automotive glass which is typically tempered 0.12" thick glass. Although it does work on tempered glass, we cannot guarantee it will shatter 1/4 non-automotive glass.
