Sedona 52 in. x 19 in Rectangle Fiber-Concrete Propane Fire Pit in Buff with Natural Gas Conversion Kit

Purchased this fire pit in May of 2018 from Home Depot. Used the fire pit through the summer, everything worked and looked great. Over the winter we covered the pit with the provided cover. In the spring when we removed the cover the surface of the pit and sides of the pit had fractured. The product is made from concrete and fiberglass best I can tell. When the concrete fractures not only does it look really bad as the color stands out, but it then is dangerous as fibers also stick out. Home Depot directed us to the manufacture Real Flame. We contacted them, provided pictures, proof of purchase, etc and they promptly sent us a new replacement pit. The new pit arrived March of 2019. Same story, other the summer everything is great. Cover the pit over the winter, open it up in the spring and same problem on the new one. Again we reached out to Real Flame. Their reply stated they will only replace the pit once. However, they did provide pages of very detailed instructions on how to repair the fire pit. This leads me to believe this is a common issue. I would suggest not buying this product if it will be used in a colder climate where it will be covered over the winter, like here in Iowa. The product will only last one season.

After searching numerous sites, we bought both the the pit and tank enclosure last summer. This item meet our backyard price, needs and decor. Great color and easy assembly. I was concern gasline hose was pinched (shipping issue), but hose was return to normal after a couple of days. During the year, many people complimented the pit: to include, the kids who made Smores...haha... Be prepare to go to refill stations since they want to pit on constantly....lol Only suggestion is for longer gasline (dont know if its a safety issue)... Next upgrade...replace lava rocks with glass pebbles....it never ends....geez

This fire pit was delivered to our home and the delivery people were so kind to take it around back to our lanai. The fire pit was packed extremely well so nothing could break. All the parts were there. Our gas technician came to install the unit to our natural gas outlet and he was very impressed with the quality. I also ordered 30 lb of glass diamonds that the technician wanted to put in because he was as excited about the fire pit as we were! Not only is it beautiful, but it puts out a good amount of heat. We will get lots of use out of this on cold evenings in FL.

Shame it does not have a glass fire surround to break the wind

If cozy fires are your thing , this fire pit is for you. It gives off plenty of heat. The suface area around the fire is perfict for a glass of your favorite beverage and a small plate. I would suggest buying a tempered glass to sourround the fire. This helps with wind, and safety.

I would have given this product an "Excellent" rating, but it did not come with the glass windscreen pictured above. I called the Real Flame company serviced dept. and they indicated that it no longer came with the screen and that if I didn't like it for that reason I should return the product to Home Depot!!!

Very easy to set up and beautiful. We used the conversion kit to attach it to a natural gas source and that was very easy to do. It is a beautiful addition to our screened porch seating group. Love it!
