Fortress is a precision engineered system of prefabricated PVC duct and fittings. Fortress conceals and protects exposed refrigeration line sets, electrical cable/telephone wiring and water or drain pipes. It comprises extruded PVC duct plus a full range of 16 injection molded Polypropylene fittings, all of which meet the requirements of the current UL -94V-0 specification and are suitable for temperatures from -4 to 140F.

Does what it supposed to do. Easy to install. Be sure to plan your route before you start so you don't run short of corners and couplers. Clean and professional look when you have to install on outside walls. Even used it to run and hide telephone/cable wires through. Ample clips to secure the lineset are essential. Get plenty extra. Not many come with the ducts. Get an extra length so if you run short you won't have to wait for more.

My assessment is the Rectorseal ductless mini split covers are complete garbage. The manufacturer appears to have made no attempt to make the pieces waterproof when they connect so without drizzling generous caulking all over every connection, you should expect the interior to fill with water if exposed to rain. While I was trying to install the components in merely 40 degree temperatures, the pieces were brittle and prone to shatter/break while being handled and worked into place. For the price of the pieces, they should be durable material that will last for years. Instead they are cheap and brittle. I am very very sorry I picked this brand.
