A: No they are not unfortunately. They work beautifully for reduction of heat coming through the windows. They gray light filtering let's just enough light come through and it goes with just about any color or style of room.

A: Yeah, it definitely blocks the light well. Just make sure you don’t cut them too short on the sides so light doesn’t sneak through.

A: I love them because they are easy to clean and put up and if they fall down use thumb tacks or smallest nails to tack back up.

A: As advertised, they definitely are black out shades. The tricky part is whether they have a tight fit within your window to keep out the light on the edges. That’s going to be up to you to measure properly. Keep in mind they are temporary. The sticky top part will not last forever.
