Easy to crank jack!!
This is a well made trailer jack. I put it on my 18 foot utility trailer to replace the original one that had become nearly impossible to crank. After cutting the old bolts off to get the original jack off, installation was a breeze. And this thing cranks very easily! After taking the load off. I can turn the crank with one finger! Even loaded, one hand turns the crank with very little effort. Seems to be an excellent

Good Replacement Jack
RE: Reese Towpower 2000 lb. Top Wind A-Frame Jack
I ordered this to replace my existing jack on my 7'x14' TA Hauler. It is a direct replacement.
The quality of the jack itself is there. However...., like other reviewers have stated, it was missing the washer that goes on the screw stern below the handle. A trip to the neighborhood hardware store was necessary. The handle hardware was loose in the box too. And the box had a hole in the side from shipping, but the hardware was there.... That's my reason for 4 stars.
Installation was straight forward. A 10mm wrench/socket is required to install handle hardware. The nut and bolt to attach the drop foot were different though. The drop foot bolt required a 5/8" wrench/socket, while the nut appears to be metric... a 5/8" wouldn't fit and the 11/16" was loose, I didn't have a metric that large to compare. So I used an adjustable wrench.
Anyway, insert inner tube into outer tube and drop through the top plate on the trailer tongue. Then install drop foot and handle. I set my hauler on the truck hitch to support it versus jacking it up. More stable...
Be sure to torque the plate bolts.
Otherwise, it's a good jack and a vast improvement over my previous jack! I still recommend it.

Easy to Install
I like these A-frame jacks since they are so easy to remove and install. That's important to me because of my tendency to forget to completely wind up the jack, resulting in a bent or broken drop leg. The reason for my 4-star rating is due to two issues: 1.) the top-wind handle hardware was loose in the box, and the top washer was missing from the packaging. 2.) The foot plate is smaller than my older jack. That's not a deal breaker; I just like the larger foot plate and reused it on this new jack. It's still an excellent value and don't hesitate to recommend this one.

There was a tear in the box and a screw...
There was a tear in the box and a screw and bialy for the handle was missing. I had to go back to Home Depot and buy a screw and bolt.
