We would say yes it is a very aggressive tape.
I suppose you could, but I wouldn’t. I think you would need to connect it to ground somehow. Copper tape would be easier to use. You might look at coaxial speaker cable or low impedance speaker wire (better for longer wire runs, less power loss). Quality wire (Mogami) costs more, but you CAN hear the difference.
No. it will not, our foil product would not either. Thanks
I would hate to say it couldn’t protect the wood, after all the tape is aluminum and the adhesive can withstand high temperatures. I assume you are talking about the edge of the wood where it’s close to the door of the dishwasher. It seems to me a clear polyurethane on the leading edge of the wood would be more durable and look better. (Just a thought)
It would reflect some heat but as thin as the tape is it would conduct heat through the tape very easily
I purchased this tape to secure insulation blanket to water heater. You could probably try to use it for what you need, the adhesive is pretty sticky once you pull off the paper backing. Can't hurt to try..
Absolutely, in fact that was what it was designed for. I’ve used it on fresh air, return and exhaust vents. It works great
