There is no weather coating on the gate so we would not recommend leaving it out doors.

This gate can be installed using either pressure mounting or wall mounting with screws. The pressure mount installation is designed for simplicity and safety, but you also have the option of using screws for a more permanent installation.
What is the size of the walk-through opening in inches?
This gate expands to fit openings between 29 inches to 34 inches or 35 inches to 38.5 inches. Please note that it will not fit an opening between 34 inches and 35 inches; an additional 4-inch extension is needed for that size. The gate itself stands 30 inches tall.
