Product Overview

Renogy will provide you with a clean, quiet and renewable way of ensuring the batteries are full charged and capable of providing a steady supply of electricity. Our Renogy 100-Watt Monocrystalline Bundle comes with components that you will need to expand on a system you may already have or just need some items to complete your system. Our 100-Watt Monocrystalline solar panel, 9 in. Mc4 Adaptor Kit and 30 Amp PWM charge controller are included. Keep in mind that this kit allows for the charge controller to be close to the solar panel so depending on your situation, you may still need an extension cable or longer wiring.
  • Authorized UL 1703 photovoltaic modules and panels, EL tested solar modules; no hotspot heating guaranteed
  • Withstand strong wind (2400Pa)/heavy snow (5400Pa), excellent performance in low light environments
  • The Charge controller has been upgraded to Renogy's new 30 Amp PWM negative ground charge controller - the Renogy Wanderer 30 Li
  • Negative grounding controller ensures the broader off grid applications and safety, especially to be used on a vehicle which has battery negative on the chassis
  • System can be extended up to 400-Watt in parallel connection

Does this system keep charging the battery when left hooked up continuously, even if there's no d...

Answer

Hi, Thanks for sending your inquiry. Our charge controllers have a safety feature where it will automatically regulate the amount of power being distributed to the battery based on the battery's SOC or state of charge. If the battery is fully charged or close to being fully charged, it will either stop charging them or will drastically limit the power similar to trickle charging. This helps ensure that the batteries are in check. Hope this helps. In the meantime, if you have any questions, please feel free to let us know and we'll do our best to help. Or you may call us at (909) 287-7111 Monday through Friday 8:30am - 3:00pm PST. Have a good day!

To run a water heater or an a/c how many 100’s or volts I need

Answer

Hello Joe, Thank you for reaching out and your interest in Renogy. A Renogy 100-watt solar panel will produce approximately 5 Direct Current amps per hour, under optimum conditions. This will translate to about 25-30 D/C amp-hours being produced per day. Please keep in mind that if you will be powering A/C loads it is important to take the rated watts of each load and divide it by the operational voltage of your battery bank. For example, a 200-watt A/C load divided by 12-volts equals an hourly amperage consumption of 16-17 amps per hour. You can now take the amperage consumption (16-17 amps) and multiply it by your load's approximate runtime and this will equal the necessary amount of amp hours. 17 amps multiplied by a runtime of 2 hours equals 34 amp-hours. Please note that powering an Air conditioner or a heater will typically require a lot of power, resulting in a very large solar system. We would recommend considering our cabin kits, please contact us if you have any other questions, have a wonderful day.

Hello, I have two A/C Wall Units and the biggest one says it produces 230/208 Volts at 5.5/58 Amp...

Answer

You will need an extremely large solar system to run these two A/C units for 24 hours run time. Doing a quick calculation, you will need a solar system that will produce 26085 amount of watts from your panels and a battery bank that can produce 2221 amp hours / 48 volts(per day). But please note that batteries and inverters are NOT included in our kits. Please contact us if you have any further questions.

ive had this set up for awhile and i got a 700w att inverter from renogy and a 12 volt 50 ah battery from mighty max .all i can say is you cant run a ac off of it unless its the only thing you have to run .it takes along time to charge up battery with the charge controller.i rated 4 stars because im just learning about solar i know theres better deals and cheaper solar panels but just went with renogy because of name i guess. better to by the mppt charger.with this set .make sure not to forget fuses 70 amp on 700 watt inverter .if a 30amp or 40amp charge controller then use a 30amp or 40amp from charge controller to battery .use 10 panel to charge controller in a 100 watt solar set up .all this info is from renogy for fuses .not from me .i had to write them and so should you if have any questions .they are quick with reponse 24 hr..
