Fast drying, easy to see spray
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love this spray. Works great and a little goes a long way. I love the aerosol spray can, I feel it is much easier to control the spray with aerosol then the pump style sprays. I love that this lasts up to 10 hours. If you get rained on or sweat a lot, I would reapply just to be safe. If applying to the face, spray your hands then wipe it onto your face, don’t spray it on your face or near your eyes. Apply it to your exposed skin and clothing. It dries quickly. The smell is not overpowering but is a little strong when applying. It’s not nearly as noticeable after it dries. We went hiking this weekend and used this on myself and kids. Dad didn’t use it and ended up with a tick on his elbow. We had none. Highly recommend.

Great Protection

The TEXAS size mosquitos are legendary!!! REPEL 100 Insect Repellent worked perfectly. This repellent lasts up to 10 hours. It also repels ticks, gnats, flies, chiggers and fleas. We also have horse flies that bite so using REPEL 100 was effective. This repellent is great for severe conditions. I take this repellent everywhere especially while fishing at our lakes or checking the horses.

Best insect protection, low odor, easy to apply
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This bug spray is extremely effective in warding off biting insects. My family and I live in a heavily wooded area crawling with mosquitoes, ticks, and other biting insects. We often spend time together outdoors during summer evenings. We kept coming inside each night with 10+ insect bites each so I bought this spray to see if it would help. I was very surprised when NO ONE had bites after using this! The aerosol spray works well and covers skin thoroughly, evenly, and quickly which is important when you are applying to kids! One application lasts several hours and there wasn't any noticeable odor which was another plus. The 4oz spray bottle is the perfect size and easily portable - can fit into bags, backpacks, or even pockets. Will purchase again so we always have some on hand.

10 hrs protection
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Repel 100 protects for 10 hours, oh my that’s wonderful. It’s also for severe conditions. It has 98.11 % deet, yay, those pesky insects won’t have a chance.
It think this repel would be perfect for hiking and camping. I personally use it in my backyard, we have mosquitoes in and out plus other insects.
It last for up to 10 hours, so I can spray before I leave the house and be protected for hours so no need to carry it a long however its a smaller container, 4 ozs, so it won’t weight my bag down. It’s could fit in my bag easily without taking up much space, I can take it on the go to parks and picnics or any outdoor events or activities.
It’s a great product for me and my family.

This is nearly 100% DEET. It sprays out is a rather thick, heavy "mist" that needs to be spread by hand afterwards. It flows out of the can at a relatively high rate. So be careful not to put too much on.
The product is somewht greasy/oily feeling, but is nearly scentless. I felt the need to wash my hands after spreading it on my arms and legs. I used it to go do some maintenance my backyard jungle here in Florida. Initially, some of the dirt did stick to my legs due to the oily product. However, it felt fine and appeared to work well for the four, sweaty hours I worked in the brush. I received zero bug bites of any kind. I don't care for the oily feeling, but I think it helps with the longevity of its effectiveness.

I used the repel 100 insect repellent for first time when I was going to check livestock well after dark. I was wearing a head lamp and using a handheld flood lamp so attracting bugs was an iss.
the spray is a wet spray so I made sure I wasn't anywhere close to anything I didn't want the spray to land on. It coates well on skin and areas around ankles/shoes.
During the trek I had no problems from biting insects, though I did get hit in the face by a flying June bug.
I have to say this product works.
will be great for anyone working or playing (fishing, himing etc)in bug infested areas,
I did wash off after arriving back home since I didn't want the soray in my bedding.

This spray from Repel 100 is definitely for severe conditions! I tested this while doing some evening yard work where there is a retention pond and plenty of nagging insects who thrive on any human or animal that may be available! Did an admirable job at keeping pests away. Very low odor is a plus. Does go on a bit thick but, keeps the bloodsuckers away as intended! Would recommend spraying on a paper towel or something to apply on sensitive areas.

This bug repellent is excellent! I have used it many times this summer, day and night, and have had great results. I suffer from having sweet blood that mosquitos love and this spray does the trick. I most recently used it on a climbing trip that went well after sunset, we were just above a river in Logan canyon and there were mosquitos everywhere! But I didn't come home with any bites thanks to this spray!
Just pay close attention to the clothing you are wearing as it states on the can that it will stain some fabrics (but not anything cotton or polyester so don't worry too much!).
And if you are wondering how much DEET this spray contains I attached a picture of the label where it specifies 98.11%. And that's how you know it's good.

Can opens easily. Liquid repellent is dispensed more in a stream than a spray, which requires user to rub product over skin to spread liquid evenly. Wish the spray was more widespread like a mist. The smell was very chemical, like petroleum, but if it will keep the bugs and mosquitoes away, who cares. I sprayed it on, generously, prior to working near wooded area, during summer when our coastal area had a mosquito attack. The bugs were all around but didn't seem to want to come near me. So, the product work. I did, however, need a shower afterward to get the insectide smell washed off.
