The kit includes two 4,500-watt, 240-volt water heater High Watt Density screw-in elements with gaskets, 1 Therm-O-Disk 240-volt lower thermostats and 1 Therm-O-Disc upper thermostat.

This product has a defective o-ring/rubber gasket. The one I purchased yesterday the o-ring/rubber gasket is to big for this unit.

Worked like a charm! Replaced the old elements and anode...
Worked like a charm! Replaced the old elements and anode rod in my water heater, and put these in. My water heater no longer moans, groans and sighs….so it finally doesn’t sound pervy in my laundry room in the middle of the night when it kicks on.
Use some pipe dope on the threads and and don’t forget to suck out the sediment from the bottom of the hot water tank with a wet vac and a nozzle attachment.

I have very hard water. My water heater is 5 years old with no leaks. I would run out of hot water half way through a short shower. Bought the tune up kit. Had to reuse the bigger thermostat, because the new one didn't have enough connections for all the wires that my Rheem water heater has. Fortunately, my heater is working great again.

Easy to install, price was right, and fixed the problem....
Easy to install, price was right, and fixed the problem. Went from a dual element 5500 watt to this 4500 watt set with no issues. Still plenty of hot water and saving energy.
