The replacement sliding glass door and labor was going to cost about $1800. I decided to build an add-on in-line skateboard to the inside track of the existing sliding glass door. All materials, the Richelieu 1-9/16 castors, 1X3 wood, aluminum bar stock, the threaded rod, and the nuts & washers, were bought at my local Home Depot. Thinking about the design took far longer than the actual construction as the adjusting mechanism had to be able to move the door 1/64" at a time.
