A:  Yes, as long as they arent’t restricted which would cause them to freeze up. If that happens and you continue to push, it could mar the floor. As long as they stay free wheeling, you should not have a problem. Don’t over weight them which may cause them to dig into the surface.

A:  Yes. I affixed the ones I bought to a bookcase that have and I move it around on my laminate floor in the basement all the time. The rubber is smooth and does not harm the floor in any way. They also glide very well.

A:  It really depends on the weight (load), and the cleanliness of the floor and wheels. If the wheels get hard debris on them, and they carry a substantial load (e.g., say over 25-lbs each), then there is risk of scratching the soft floor as the wheels pivot. If the floors and wheels are kept clean, they are probably ok. I am personally using these wheels on a concrete floor where they work fine, but am not worried about scratching.

A:  I put them on a table that I made. My wife uses the table for sewing in the family room and rolls it out of the way when not in use. That room has a laminate floor, and I haven't noticed any scratching on the floor at all. However, I suppose it would depend on the type of laminate flooring.

A:  They will function outside, but if exposed to weather (rain), they will eventually rust, and they leave a rust stain. If they are outside but protected from rain, they will work fine. After some period though (maybe a couple years), I would advise to put a bit of oil on the bearing part
