ello Eddd,
Thank you for leaving a review of the Ring Floodlight Camera. This device is designed to be a high-definition camera with two-way talk and floodlights for security wherever it is needed. Please know that we are here to resolve these concerns with you today.
Based on your review, it seems like you may have condensation in your Ring Floodlight. Condensation is a naturally occurring process by which water condenses out of the air and forms as small droplets inside the device. This happens primarily due to the cooling effect when your lights turn off or as the light itself cools when the sun goes down. Are you currently a Ring Protect Plus subscription member? Or is your device still under the original one-year warranty? If so, please reach out to our support team as soon as possible so we can discuss a resolution for you.
This issue could also be caused by environmental factors as well. It’s important when selecting a location to remember that Floodlight Cam is designed to be placed at an optimum height of nine feet with the motion detector parallel to the ground. This will put the motion sensor in a perfect position to detect human-sized objects at up to 30 feet.
