Works great
We absolutely love this spot flood light. It has so many features. It takes 4 "D" batteries that seem to last about six months. Since it battery operated you can literally mount anywhere you dont need to worry about a power source. Through the app you can adjust the brightness, turn it on and off. You can adjust the hours you want it to not trigger, and yes its motion sensored. You do need to purchase a ring bridge box for it to work. I highly recommend ring products, this is definitely worth purchasing.

Great Spotlight
The Ring Jobsite Security Spotlight Battery uses 4 D cell batteries (not included). I use this with my Ring app on my smart phone and it works great. Packaged well and very simple instructions for assembly. Ring products always have support ready to answer phone calls for help. This can be used on jobsites or outside homes in dark areas. I strongly recommend this spotlight to anyone that needs motion activated light.

Pretty Good Ring Jobsite Security Spotlight
The " Ring Jobsite Security Spotlight " is a good add on to the Ring family of security products. I am not crazy about batteries and not having a rechargeable one like the other Ring products. 4-"D" batteries n get expensive these days. It is very easy to set up. I do not have the Ring control box so this sits alone. very bright and good motion sensitivity. I do recommend this if you have the whole system,

This is a battery powered Ring jobsite security spotlight. Okay spot light
This is the ring jobsite security spotlight battery light fixture. Overall was not impressed with the quality of the spotlight. You do have to take apart the spotlight which is battery operated. The reason it was battery operated is the reason why I’m not a big fan of it. It is meant for each outside so I have your stand why power is needed from batteries in it. The plastic material seems a little flimsy. Almost to the point that after the third or fourth battery switch out it feels like you can easily break it.

Really Well Made ... May not be the most secure? Let's get this part out of the way first ... these are really top notch quality pieces. If you get them all and execute the design as imagined by the manufacturer, you will have a very complete system ... but, it may very well be the first thing the crooks steal and it may conk out way sooner that you think. It needs power to operate and it needs an internet connection to communicate, so there's a lot of infrastructure that goes with all this. Maybe add a few protective cages and it could be great?

VERY BRIGHT LED LIGHT
This Ring Jobsite Security Spotlight is battery powered. It uses 4 "D" batteries and is useful for a jobsite or even for doing work after sundown. It is fully adjustable and provides plenty of light where needed. I do wish it had the option of hardwired or solar powered but being battery powered it is more portable from one jobsite to the next. It is very useful and can be monitored with the Ring App on your phone or tablet. It provides security and can be motion triggered. Recommended.

Easy to take apart
If I was a thief and forgot my flashlight, this makes a great gift, as unscrewing either of the position knobs give me a free flashlight. Putting this out of reach may not be enough, and putting in a cage may not be practical. The batteries should last a couple weeks, but you will need ready access to the light to replace the battery. As for notifications, you need to have a monthly subscription for alerts and need to have a wireless phone chip or wired ethernet access point that is compatible. Ring's website is terrible at providing online support for finding out what you need. And you need an account to use the app. This is best purchased as part of the jobsite security kit which comes with an access point but not the monthly service subscription. And batteries still die, so rechargeable may be a longer term solution if you are worried about landfill waste. The orange color makes these easy to spot, either to disable them or as a visual deterrent, will depend on who sees it.

Bright light!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Ring smart lighting spotlight is a wonderful addition to our home security. Motion activated, it provides a very bright light to our dark yard. Easy to install and it connects to our Ring App so we can keep track of its settings and adjust them easily and also keep track of the battery life. Weather resistant so I don’t have to worry. Wire free so I didn’t have to worry about installing it. Gives me notifications through my Ring App or I can set it to work with my Alexa device. Now I just need more of these products.
