Q:Can this product be used with a hot/cold mixer valve and if so which one
by|Jul 19, 2023

Answer This Question

A:  Thank you for your inquiry about the Aquaus 360 bidet. We're pleased to inform you that it can indeed be used with a hot/cold mixing valve, provided that the valve has a standard 1/2" hose thread connection. There are mixing valves available that can directly connect to your toilet's 7/8" fill valve, as well as other thermostatic mixing valves that can be connected to the plumbing under your sink. However, we want to be transparent and let you know that we currently do not stock the specific hot/cold water mixing valve for the toilet connection. To find this valve, you would need to explore other sellers or suppliers. We strongly advise seeking reputable sellers who offer high-quality products to ensure the valve's durability and performance. As for safety shut-off valves, we must refrain from recommending any specific ones as we cannot verify the quality and durability of valves from other sources. It is crucial to select a reliable valve that meets safety standards and ensures consistent performance for a safe and efficient bidet experience. If you have any further questions or need more information about using the Aquaus 360 bidet, please don't hesitate to contact us. We are here to assist you in any way we can. Thank you for considering our product, and we hope you have a positive and enjoyable experience with the Aquaus 360 bidet. Best regards, RinseWorks, Inc. Customer Support

Q:Can this be hooked up to your shower for warm water?

    Answer This Question

A:  Hello Titi, Thank you for reaching out to us regarding the Aquaus 360 bidet for the toilet. Please note that the toilet adapter included with the bidet sold on homedepot.com is specifically designed to connect to the 7/8" fill valve threads commonly found in toilets. Unfortunately, it will not connect directly to shower pipes, as they typically have 1/2" threads. However, we do offer the 1/2" shower valve as an alternative option. Additionally, we have the complete Aquaus 360 bidet for the shower system, which is specifically designed for shower installations. For further assistance and to explore the best solution for your specific needs, please send us an email to help@rinseworks.com. Our team will be more than happy to assist you in finding the appropriate product. Thank you for considering RinseWorks products, and we look forward to helping you further. Nothing but excellent
I bought this product in 2017 and paid $59.95 (plus tax). Ive had zero issues with it. Easy install, no leaks, no rust, works perfectly great! My mom, sister, in-laws, and bestfriend have bought this bidet for each of their toilets in all their bathrooms and they all love this and have not heard anything negative from any of them! I waited 5 years to leave a review so that i can really say that this product is the best bidet i have owned and used in my lifetime.

Would recommend it anyone in a heartbeat.
This is my 3rd purchase, this time for another house! I've been using it for over 4 years and have had ZERO issues. I had been using the spring loaded, push lever ones for decades and was sick and tired of dealing with leaks and replacing them every year or 2, however, this one is solid as a rock. I (and the entire family) use it as a bidet for personal hygiene, and we could not have asked for a better product. We like it so much that I've shipped it overseas to my relatives too. It's so easy to install - I did it all on my own in 30 mins or so. Comes with all standard fittings for US and is a breeze to install. The long stem REALLY helps when you are reaching for the "lower areas" of personal hygiene. And not have to worry about putting your thumb on a push button is such a relief. Just set up the turn-knob to the desired pressure and then take your time cleaning up. Over all, I'm extremely happy and satisfied with this product. Would recommend it anyone in a heartbeat.

Well made, easy to install and use, looks good!
I visited HD looking for a seat with a built-in bidet, but was intrigued by the large display for this handheld one. The staff member told me handheld bidets like these were popular throughout the world now, which convinced me to give it a try. My family and I are very pleased with it. It's simple to install, and works great. The thumb controller is quite ergonomic and easy to operate. We switched from the default spray head to the included longer one, finding it made it easier to reach those, um, special areas. :?D (An extension pipe is also included that can be used with either head.) It was a bit of a surprise that the handheld part was plastic, as it looked like metal in the package. However, this makes it considerably lighter, and as it's very well made and seems quite long-lasting, we feel that doesn't matter. If you value personal cleanliness and want a simple, effective, inexpensive approach to it, I don't think this will disappoint you. Cheers!

                Broken and leaking
I purchased two of these in early 2020 when toilet paper was scarce due to the pandemic. Initially they worked great. Within about 8 months, the holder which allows you to holster this bad boy broke. I was left to MacGyvering something to hold the wand. Today while cleaning the kids toilet I noticed it leaks out the end of the wand after every use even though both the wand control valve and hose control valve are turned off. This really concerns me. I don't know how long this has been happening but could be disastrous. So much for 10 year life on the ceramic valve. Not sure if this is just a bad one but my other one has been great so far.

                  *BEWARE THIS PRODUCT RUSTS*
Since buying this thing for like 70$ in april 2020 it has gotten the job done. It is quite powerful but it has its drawbacks. Mainly the strength is not consistent and spreads all over the places quite often. The pathway of the water coming out is not always straight if that makes any sense. It goes in several directions. But the thing that made me hate this is the fact that it rusts so easily. Take a look at the pics I attached. That is after cleaning it at least once every 2 weeks since 2020 and leaving it in bleach. Still hasn't come off. This time around I am going to use white vinegar. Just want users to be aware of what they are in for if they buy. Overall I would not recommend it. Go for something that is highly rated and rust free.

Response from RinseWorks SupportJul 29, 2021
We apologize for this issue. Unfortunately, the customer was using harsh cleaning chemicals that are well know for causing corrosion on stainless steel. RinseWorks has sent a replacement and provided the correct information on how to properly clean the stainless steel bidet hose. Our hoses are made from stainless steel and it is not possible to rust from water alone. The rust that is being referred to is actually corrosion caused by using harsh cleaning chemicals on your floor that touches the hose. Bleach, 409, or ammonia based products. Bleach is a very strong oxidizing agent. Even a small amount of bleach can oxidize steel. Bleach is so effective when it comes to oxidation that it can even make stainless steel rust. This is the case if the steel only comes in contact with a small quantity of bleach. However, if the stainless steel is exposed to a lot of bleach or for a long period of time then it will get completely corroded. Even momentary exposure to bleach can leave stainless steel with ugly blotches and discolorations. So, the message that we are trying to get across is that bleach or harsh chemicals should never be use to clean anything that is made of stainless steel. High-grade versions of stainless steel can initially withstand the effects of bleach but even they will eventually start getting destroyed. We recommend simple cleaning products like Antibacterial soap, glass cleaner, white vinegar to clean the product and stainless steel hose. RinseWorks

Item was easy to assemble. Wife need a cloth diaper rinser. This item seems better than the ones advertised on a competitors app. Also purchased a new water flex line to replace old water flex line.
