I ordered a pair of these outdoor lamps to use on my open front porch. They are VERY substantial, with a heavy base, so the lamps are not likely to blow over. They have a long outdoor cord. And they work well with the “plastic” wicker porch furniture I bought 9 years ago. They are better than I expected. I highly recommend them — just what I’d been looking for in all sorts of catalogs.

I love the gorgeous Basketweave Shade and Outdoor/Indoor Table Lamp in bronze finish. Every single square inch of the moisture resistant table lamp is made with the highest quality materials to ensure it's safe operation on the porch or patio. A thick, glass globe covers the light bulb and socket to keep rain and snow from penetrating the electrical parts. There's a push button on/off switch covered in a soft, waterproof cover that is an additional layer of moisture proof protection. The extra-long 10 ft. cord is a thick, heavy duty cord with a three pronged plug. Actually, the entire table lamp is made with heavy duty construction and it's hefty weight will protect it from blowing over on windy days. The basketweave shade is a beautiful match to the lamp base that resembles a darkened, bronzed bamboo. It is so lovely.

The trend is to make your outdoor space look and feel more indoor and a space needs some light! Enter this very functional and attractive table lamp with brown basketweave shade. Made specifically for outdoors with some important safety features.....The socket/bulb is entirely covered with a heavy glass cover that secures itself into the base and protects from rain, debris, snow etc./The on/off push button is covered entirely by rubber so no water can permeate into the switch/the shade is made of a uv resistant plastic shade and wipes off easy for cleaning/The plug is extra long at 10ft and is heavy duty and grounded /The lamp itself is made of metal with a weighted base and stands about 2ft tall/You can use up to a 60watt bulb but since we are all mostly using LED bulbs a 40 or 60 equivalent works great. It really is very attractive and I cover it with a clear plastic bag when not in use for extra protection.

The 25.5 in. White Outdoor/Indoor Table Lamp with Basket Weave Shade is a great innovation. It has a sturdy metal base and a strong cord, suitbale for the outdoors. The on/off switch is covered and insulated and the bulb is encapsulated by a screw-on glass dome. I would not submerge it in water or leave it out in rain but it is perfect for an outdoor room or patio. It is also a beautiful design.

You can use this lamp outdoor because it's built tough. The base and neck is heavy metal and the basketweave shade can last outdoor. There is a glass dome that fits over the light bulb to protect the bulb from the elements. I would put this outside for use but wouldn't leave it outside for long periods of time. The long black power cord reminds me of the computer power cord. Heavy duty power cord.

But has a plastic basket weave designed shade and the bulb has a protective cover to shield it from moisture. This unit is not designed to be used in wet areas there is no quick disconnect on the power in case of short. I love it! Husband insisted there was no such thing as an outside lamp - and here it is. Nothing dresses up an outside area like a nice lamp. I am serious. All of those outdoor furniture groupings need this accessory. While this lamp is actually made to have outside. I plan to use mine inside as I have a guesthouse that could use a lamp with a shade you can wipe clean. Our grandchild tends to toss his food off his plate to signal he is finished. I will be bringing it out outside for parties.
Husband had to check it out, his conclusion is that it can be outside - this lamp could even be rained on and it would be okay. Heavy base - and it’s really a good looking lamp.

HIGH QUALITY and much better than even expected I needed a lamp for my sunroom which is furnished with wicker furniture. This one is very nice. The shade is a high quality construction and not something that would be easily damaged. The lamp is heavy and weighted which adds to the quality of performance for outdoor use. The lamp is made of metal with the solid heavy plastic shade.
Both the light bulb and the on/off switch are protected from the elements. The switch is push button. The lamp comes well packaged in a solid box with printed directions for assembly. It took less than 5 minutes to assemble. A 60 watt light bulb is required and not included. Very adequate light is projected from the lamp. This is both an attractive and stylish lamp. I am so happy to have this product for my indoor sunroom.
River of Goods has become my new favorite brand name, and I will search for other products with this logo.
I would not hesitate at all to say that it is a 5 star product.
