No, 7200 is specific to Cove Base applications. Roberts 2310 can potentially be used to re-adhere the flooring. Discovering the reason behind the bubbles is key to resolving the issue. Bubbles can appear under vinyl sheet flooring when moisture or moist air rises from below. Either one of these components becomes trapped between substrate and the vinyl creating a bubble or a warp in the subfloor surface. Bubbles can appear following a high moisture event. (maintenance, plumbing leaks, excess rain, w/ poor drainage etc.)

Is this suitable for installing vinyl cove base in a garage (in Texas)?

Answers

Roberts 7200 is specifically warranted for Interior (controlled environments) applications. However, Depending on the Garage ambient condition, installation is plausible: Install conditions: temperature must be between 65-95°F with a maximum ambient RH of 65% for 48 hours before and during installation as well as for 72 hours afterward with the appropriate Open Time observed during installation. Surface must be structurally sound, dry, smooth, flat, and free of excess moisture/alkali and all substances (oil, debris, dust, paint, chemicals, oil based sealers, adhesive residue, etc.) that may inhibit the bond of the adhesive or the performance of the installation. Recommended Substrates: Porous wall surfaces such as gypsum drywall, plaster, brick, concrete block and wood. Limitations • ROBERTS 7200 is not recommended over nonporous, sealed or painted surfaces.

Can i use this on vinyl fence that has a tear?

Jeff I have only used it for Cove Base against a sheetrock wall. I can tell you it drys quickly, not like superglue however. It will take minutes, cures in hours. The color was a creamy white, dries to a dark yellowish color. Once it is dry, difficult to clean up excess . Hopes this helps you.

How much time before this sets. Any wiggle room to reposition if needed?

Yes there is some wiggle room. It won’t truly set up for an hour or two depending on temp and humidity etc. simple repositioning within a few minutes or so shouldn’t be a problem

7200 is specifically recommended for vinyl and rubber cove base application. This method could be possible with the 7200 however results & performance is unknown. Otherwise, you may want to consider a construction grade adhesive such as Loct Tite PL premium. My vinyl flooring is curling up next to my tub. Could I use this to glue it back down?

I don't think so. You should use a vinyl floor and tile adhesive. Follow the instructions. Then I would use a heat gun on the curled flooring to soften it and make it pliable so you will be able to lay it flat back in place.

Can I use this to glue cove base to stainless steel?

I am not sure about that. Maybe it will say on the label. It would probably work but I, personally would use a product made by Liquid Nails called Fuze*it. I has not let me down yet on multiple surfaces. Even glass

I used Roberts Adhesive when installing peel-n-stick linoleum tiles vertically on the wall as a backsplash. I was pleased with it's performance. The tiles were surprisingly heavy even though they are linoleum, so I wanted to be sure they were secure. When applying the adhesive, there is just enough of an open window to allow last minute adjustments if necessary. There is no odor whatsoever. I like the consistency, because it stayed on the wall as I applied it using a caulking gun. It didn't run or fall off the wall at all. It's just right.

Didn't know in advance that I had to buy a large caulking gun. That was the only issue for us. My adult sons were able to install the vinyl baseboard in a timely manner. The product that we purchased along with the adhesive -- Roberts recommended spray nozzle worked well. Because we put the cove base on concrete walls in some areas, we had to use extra adhesive, but it got the job done. We are in the process of making our basement functional and the cove base put on with this adhesive is really making the place look professionally complete. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for non wood baseboards!

Seeds Program Review
(What's this)
The last step to our recent kitchen rehab was to put up the baseboard molding and an end panel for the island cabinet. This adhesive caulk was used on both. When I re-did the bathroom I used standard adhesive caulk for the baseboards before I found this stuff. The difference that I could see is that this is a lighter composition, comes out kind of like a foam and is not as inclined to drip out of the tube when you are not looking. It dried faster and filled gaps well. I still used nails to tack things in place, but only a few. I had hoped to not have to use nails on the cabinet end panel, but just like the longer baseboard, it needed something to secure it in place while the adhesive dried. Bottom line is that this is good for light weight adhesive projects.
