Hi Benny, you can use it on drywall. However this knife handle is designed for use when cutting flooring, whether carpet or vinyl. The blade thickness is also different for drywall. You can get a decent utility knife for drywall that does not cost that much. You can check the blade dimensions, you might be able to get drywall cutting blades that will fit this handle.
