any good for drywall

AnswerHi Benny, you can use it on drywall. However this knife handle is designed for use when cutting flooring, whether carpet or vinyl. The blade thickness is also different for drywall. You can get a decent utility knife for drywall that does not cost that much. You can check the blade dimensions, you might be able to get drywall cutting blades that will fit this handle.

These knife handles work good for my application. However, since the production of these knives moved they don't last as long as they used to. The blade holding area wears out to fast.

Great purchase for a small price!
We used this utility knife for cutting a thick wall paper that we installed under our kitchen cabinets. The handle is a little longer than most knives and is very easy to hold in your hand. It made our job much easier. I recommend this product and look forward to using it on other projects.

Works great on laminate flooring installations!
Great cutting knife. Has a great feel to it and it cuts really nice. Used it on my Allure Traffic Master laminate flooring installation and it worked awesome. No need for saws. Just used this knife to score the flooring plank and snapped it clean. Worth the money for the right tool.
