Yes, I brought this as a Christmas gift for my mother and she loves it. She has used it just about everyday
The model number is located on the top of the front jaw.
No, this is not made in the USA.
Only on edge.
It doesn't make a difference. Once folded up it is becomes one solid mass which locks together. You can even carry it around by the built in handle. If I had a one car garage I would put brackets on a wall and hang it up out of they way, or you can just lay it in front of where you park your car on the floor. Just remember, it is heavy so you may need help lifting it onto the brackets and make sure the brackets are drilled into secure studs.
When I purchased mine the wheels were built right into the unit. They are very handy because of the heavy weight of the Jawhorse.
.. the jaws are steel with plastic/rubber pads ..attached pads would melt ...could remove them I suppose ..believe a blacksmithing vise or a heavy machinist vise would work better for your intended use
This product weighs 38 pounds.
It will hold up to 37in solid. If you are needing larger like a sheet of plywood, there is a 48in model.
