Good for what we needed
First- you only get 20 bricks that are all the same size ....8x12x4 inches (the large size)
Second- almost all of them have some imperfections. The few that had giant chips out of them were replaced by the company. They were great to deal with. But it did take a few weeks to get them, so delayed our project
Third- we used them to raise our little fireplace kit and the hearth kit up by 4 inches. You need to finagle the bricks from the fireplace kit and these to make it work without cutting. But worked great!
Forth- we could not find these bricks at our home depot, so we had to order them online and have shipped to our house. The ones home depot sold were smaller. But $200 for 20 bricks is kind of pricey.
fifth- they come on pallets. (3 that included fireplace, this wall, and hearth) They are delivered by a freight company who pulls up to your curb and unloads with a pallet jack. So you have to move them yourself to the backyard. I used a hand cart and did a few trips. I tipped the guy $20 and he put them up on my driveway by the house, instead of at the curb.
Sixth- we are very happy with this. But to form a wall, I don't think it would be enough

Other than waiting forever for the order to show up. I love the look that I got with Rockwood blocks. I built two small towers with lights in them for my fire pit. It seemed like they were going to be a bit too large for the space, but now that they are finished I think they are just right.

Despite the delay in arrival and the inconvenience in getting ride of the skids the cement firm blocks are robust to form a good looking retaining wall. The advertising for the blocks make u think you are getting 2 sizes. You are only getting one size. The trick is to score the block with a chisel.
