    A:  I had a 22 inch expansion and the 18 to 28 inch worked out fine for my sheer curtain. Had I been hanging anything heavier, I would have ordered the next size.

            I ordered this tension rod (for my curtains, for a small bathroom window) online from Home Depot. They arrived fast,and were exactly as described. The tension rod is easy to adjust by twisting it - I expanded it to 36 inches for my bathroom window. The tension rod holds the curtains in place very well. I bought the curtains online from Home Depot as well.
