    A:  Hi, You can add these rings to your Jovian rod by depressing the silver tab on the end of the rod, and sliding them in.

        A:  The color is more dark brown than a reddish. I bought enough to replace my older ones that I knew would not match. I love the look now!

          A:  Hi Anita, These rings are a solid mahogany finish. The one you are seeking, " brushed bronze", is a more metallic color with subtle brush stroke accents, usually done by hand. Hope this helps, Thanks!

            A:  I purchased some of the Mahogany rings a few months ago. Yes they are a reddish brown. They are much darker than the brushed bronze.
