Asked by KH February 14, 2021Hi, Most mini blinds' rods have a valance attached to metal body. These are not desined to have brackets mounted to them. It is recommened that if possible you mount the bracket above the bilnds.

Asked by Kate March 22, 2018HI, Each bracket is supported by 3 screws. For a 9 lb. weight , 2 brackets would work well. The brackets are solid steel and it is usually the mounting surface that gives, i.e. screws or anchors get pulled out of the wall before the bracket bends. Thanks!
