My wallpaper has sticky adhesive already but it’s not sticking to the wood boards, will this work?

I can't say for your specific situation, but we covered old border in our Victorian. My guess is you would not have a problem.

If I understood your question correctly, you are asking if you can apply this product over non pasted paper? Yes, that product works well, and that is all you have to do. Just an mid amount of product spread well including edges. I also have used this product with prepasted paper, if that paper did not stick well, or I wasn't sure it would.
