no, you can’t make it a 200” because both of the ends are the same exact thing so one can’t fit in the middle... it’s only two poles that need to be connected to extend & it takes about 15-30 to put together
Update to initial review: Has been 6 months now and still holding up perfectly. Worked with dry wall.
That is what we want to do. Read the reviews, and a couple of folks gave it 5 stars for exactly that..using with a pergola or outside room. We want to add just a little privacy and think it will do the job.
I believe it's 1 1/2 " if your grommets are 2'' it should work
Technically I suppose you could if it's a tight fit with the floor and ceiling but as it's not it's intended use, I'm not sure if warranty would apply etc.
This does the trick, just make sure you get the right size, since you want to create enough pressure/tension to hold it in place.
I don't know exactly, but I toss heavy chenille throws over as curtains, hang 9" round x 7" high potted plants (not more than 2), heavy wind chimes - and it holds up fine. It's not cheap metal that you can put your knee on and easily bend. Mine's hung between brick (v. smooth) walls that help keep it secure, but I'm sure it'd hold long blackout curtains easily on a smooth wall. I wouldn't suggest using it for pull-ups:)
It would depend on the split. It would be fine for outdoor use in a garage.
The rod did expand that far but if there is a lot of weight you might want to go a little longer
Yes I bought mine last 2 weeks and it work really well, I installed I less than an hour and boom it look amazing thanks.
