Stuccoed Dark Red Brick Vinyl Peelable Wallpaper (Covers 28.18 sq. ft.)

This peel and stick wallpaper was easy to apply and it looks great. Very durable too. Because the low cost and ease of putting it up, I'd recommend it and buy it again.

I waited several weeks to review because I wanted to see how well it worked. I had heard of shrinking of this wall covering and reviews of the paper falling off the walls. I watched a lot of video first about application as I have never applied any type of wall covering before. First I scrubbed my walls like really washed them well, not a quick wipe, and a couple times at that, hoping that would help the wall covering stick (it did) and dried the walls with a microfiber towel. I wanted a backsplash look for my apartment kitchen it's very outdated and I wanted to spruce it up, so I applied two rolls there. I have extremely uneven cupboards and I still was easily able to apply the product, it is very forgiving and I was able to fix any mistakes really easy. It was easy to match up aswell. As for the shrinking and peeling I've had neither. I think a lot of the shrinking is due to stretching it like wallpaper. You need to treat it as a decal and simply smooth it out as you apply it and carefully match it up because stretching it is what will cause the shrinking back to its original size, it isn't wallpaper it's a decal covering. I did very slightly overlap like suggested in videos. And I think it turned out lovely. I did do it by myself it took 5 hours in total mind you I was working around a lot of uneven obstacles so it would be faster in other kitchens, but I couldn't be happier. It is a great, affordable product for renters! (I also tested a strip first for removal purposes and my wall was fine underneath).

quick & easy to put up, adjust & take down. only issue I had was when I purchased 3 packages, after used up one hanging new roll from new package took some adjusting to match pattern from previous roll since the pattern in each new new package wasnt exactly consistent with the one before.

It gave the room a light airiness. It was a good weight relatively easy to hang - peel and stick. The biggest challenge was matching up the bricks to hide the seams. It met my expectations.

Loving the look of this brick wallpaper! Also love that it is self-stick, doesn't involve any paste or glue, and will not leave any residue behind when we take it down in the future. Pretty low cost and labor investment! It would be EXTREMELY difficult for one person to do this job alone, at least in the beginning. Best to have two people or you'll rip your hair out! It says on the instructions that it won't stick to textured walls, but our newly built home has orange peel texture and it's sticking to it just fine. I think the trick is using a good tool, like a thick plastic wallpaper smoother. You'll see in my attached photos how air bubbles popped up after 24 hours because I hadn't used a smoother tool, but I was able to smooth them out using a good tool and they haven't returned. If you use a good smoother when you hang it to begin with, you should be in pretty good shape. VERY IMPORTANT: Hang the first strip as squarely as possible or else it's going to negatively affect every sheet thereafter and you'll get a wonky look! It took us a good hour to get the first strip lined up properly as no wall is ever completely square. Also be sure to leave a little extra at the top and bottom and don't trim until after the install is complete so you get a clean, straight, sharp look. Also, be very careful not to pull, tug or stretch in any direction. If you do, your pattern won't line up perfectly from sheet to sheet. I've attached a photo where you can see the effect of my pulling a little too hard on one piece which threw off the alignment with the next piece. To line up the pattern without wasting too much paper we had to turn the next sheet over and upside down. Not sure why that worked, but it did!

I really like this product, and it gave my tired old basement bar a new, bright look. And it lightened up my dark basement. My basement bar was covered with a dark pine paneling that was rougher, not smooth surface unlike the paneling on the wall which is that smooth paneling that was all the rage years ago. So I was skeptical that the peel and stick wallpaper would stick to it. I was wrong, and it worked perfectly !! I tested a small peice on the smooth paneled wall and the rough paneled bar, and they both stuck just fine. On a smooth painted wall, this stuff would work just great. Working with wallpaper can sometime seem like you need three arms, and like an art form, but this wallpaper wasn't that bad once you got going. Actually, it was fun. And no wallpaper paste spilling all over the place!! Just read the instructions, be sure to start on the left side of your project, and have a new, super sharp razor knife handy because the wallpaper plus the backing is thick. Before you cut your next piece, be sure to line up the pattern so the "bricks" match. I used the overlap, excess pieces on the back side of the bar, and didn't line up the "brick" pattern, and it still looked really good. It seems your eye really can't catch it in smaller areas. Overall, a great idea.
