It is VERY difficult to do! It is hard to match this pattern and the fact that there are no cut lines on the back to help you make straight cuts blows my mind. It was nearly impossible to cut a perfectly straight 9 ft piece. I’d only recommend if you don’t need to cut length wise. It also shows ALL marks behind the paper. We thought we sanded and filled any holes, but it shows things you didn’t even know were there. I ended up peeling it off my wall because I just wasn’t happy with the result.

The wall paper is well made and durable; would even wire clean easily. Unfortunately we decided to go with a different print so these will be returned. However, I would not hesitate to buy again if needed.
