Peel and Stick wallpaper is one of the best decor tricks! I love how you can quickly and easily change up a room, or piece of furniture, and still be able to remove it without a problem. I used this to making the back of my bookcase a little more interesting, and it's very easy to use. If I was to do it again, I would apply the wallpaper before the back panel was nailed on, just because it was be so quick and easy, but using an old bookcase, I didn't have that option, and it still worked just fine.
In this case, I didn't match up the pattern where I had a seam; I actually just laid the second piece on top and had overlap. I can tell where the seam is, but it's not that noticeable from a difference, and also because of the type of random pattern the stars are. I did have to pick up and smooth several times (pro tip: use a hardcover book), and it lifted up easily each time. It held its shape well too, and I didn't notice any stretching from being pulled up. I actually see the line from where the back panel was folded better than the seam from the wallpaper!
Overall, I love how it came out, and I'm probably going to pick up another roll to do the stair risers in the basement.
