Hi Sissy, Sounds like you may want to checkout their alternative product, RoundUp Max Control 365 product. Alternatively, you might want to checkout Ortho GroundClear, which kills and prevents weeds/vegetation for up to a full year.

Is this the same product for use on Roundup Ready seeds?

Asked by Rusty February 6, 2021

This product is registered for killing weeds in an existing vegetable garden. If you get this product on any annual fruit or vegetable plants do not eat the produce. Destroy plant and either replant in 7 days or wait until next year. May be used to control weeds around the base of fruit and nut trees and grapevines Spray when the air is still and do not get any spray on green plant parts Will not move through soil so will not affect the roots. When used around Fruit or nut trees cranberries or grapevines wait 17 days before harvesting

Will this weed killer kill sticker burrs?

Asked by Lp February 4, 2021
5
Answers

Yes it will, but you have to remember that sticker Burrs are particularly tenacious plants. Roundup only has an effect on the Green Leaves of growing plants. That's why farmers can apply at right along with seeds in their field. The problem with sticker Burrs is that although it will kill the growing surface plants, there will be many other seed pods dormant on the ground ready for next season. They won't be immediately affected by the Roundup because of their hard outer shells. You have to be ready for them to emerge next year with their green leaves exposed so the liquid Roundup can penetrate. It will take at least a couple years of repeated use to get those SOB's.

To the best of my knowledge, Round-Up is a contact herbicide. It is not like fertilizer and is not taken up by plant ( including tree) roots;. I use Round-Up around all of my ornamental plants regularly without any harm to the trees and bushes. Just avoid getting any spray on the leaves of your Crape Myrtle. Remember to check the wind and avoid spraying upwind of any plant you want to keep.

Works fast but doesn't finish the job.
I've been using a generic, Farm Works, for years. Problem was it took days to show signs of dying but, after about a week the weeds died & shriveled up completely. The Roundup shows signs of killing within a day but, even after a week there was still fresh green roots. I had to reapply today because they were still alive & new weeds were coming up. For the high cost of this product, it's not worth the money. Maybe if you've got tiny, spotty weeds it's ok but, if you have a lot of heavy growth it'll take several applications. I'm going back to them generic brand. No

We hate to hear that you did not enjoy your experience with Roundup Weed and Grass Killer Concentrate Plus. Visible results occur within 24-48 hours after application, with a complete kill in 4 weeks. A lower dilution rate (3oz per gallon) will not be as effective as the higher dilution rate (6 oz.), especially on perennial weeds. Apply when daytime temperatures are consistently between 60 - 85 degrees F. We want you to be confident in our products. For this reason, we offer a product guarantee to our consumers. At your earliest convenience, please call 877-220-3089 for assistance. When calling, please refer to this review. roundup
Excellent product!
I've used this product for several years and it always works as advertised. I use a plastic 2 gallon sprayer with an attached wand. I always put water in the sprayer before adding the concentrate. The red measuring cup is handy and clips onto the bottle. I spray the grass on my driveway which is both gravel and concrete, Making sure it is sunny and at least 70 degrees, with NO wind. After about an hour, I can see the leaves of the weeds and grass wilting. They are completely dead in a couple of days. No grass or weeds show up for several months.

Roundup Plus (red - 18% glyphosate) does not work as quickly as it has in the past. It takes at least 24 hours or more to see results. I use it to kill weed grasses mostly. Other glyphosate products generally take a week or more to show results. If you are not interested in quick results, better to use less expensive products with 41% or more glyphosate.
